Will make it so much easier for them to let Man City off now

People will probably be more annoyed we got away with it when Man City do as well and blame us for it 😂

It’s all coming from a statement from the PL sent to journos.

I doubt we'll still be able to spend much, as this seasons accounts will be very tight. We had an expensive outlay of transfers after July 1st, without much the other way.

We may as well go for it stay up and take the points deduction next season rather than be relegated and get a points deduction in the champ, another season of prem money could be crucial for us

It isn’t solved, the PL are/could appeal it, which may be what’s preventing a 23/24 charge.

They are in arbitration, and it won't go anywhere beyond that imo.

The difference is the language used before was ''probably, maybe, might do, could do etc''

He's used language which is completely different today.

Can you not see the difference?

Latest year was a desperate fire sale which seems to have offset two awful years. Seeing signs of righting the wrongs this year and hoping the 24/25 accounts will come in around that -£35m mark. Would give ourselves a stronger base as those -£90m figures get scrubbed.

Should mean a little room to manoeuvre in January, but a bumper spending spree now would be a bad thing, not a good thing.

We now get to blame relegation firmly on ourselves

if we go down its because we arent good enough as a club. The players, manager and the board. Its that simple.

We arent in a good place currently but we have stuck to the rules by the sounds of things.

The board is toxic and does need a shake up but its not going to happen - especially now.

We jsut need to support the 11 on the pitch rather than finding fault constantly.

But quite clearly, they were speculating and guessing.

Percy has confirmed what has been reported. So yep, we are.

Pretty pathetic we are celebrating this but get in there lol

Now just need them to deduct everyone else some points so we can stay up....

I think you are confusing celebration with relief.

Am I getting this right?

  1. Leicester's accounts show they're between the £105m and £83m allowable losses.
  2. The Premier League decide not to charge because they think we're entitled to the £105m loss limit.
  3. The independent panel that decides punishments has the final say and they may decide that we are only entitled to £83m losses.

no. The PL decides who is in breach and charges, and then refers to the independent panel for the punishments for those charges.

They would have to prove the panel was incompetent which isn't going to happen.
