I'm probably going to get pelters for this, but isnt the messages a bit childish?

Sure use it to want action and change, all for that bit it seems it could have a more deeper use of it. Like change is over due, or Rudkin, why are you making the same mistakes again?

It's not to my taste, lets be honest.

I'm kind of with you but given it's a moving billboard, it's needs to be something impactful that people remember.

The crap bit will be if Rudkin endures all this abuse and he's had limited involvement or oversight in all these messes. But ultimately that will be Top's fault for providing us with 0 transparency as to what Rudkin actually does, and being the coward who hid behind Rudkin as he's left there like a pariah to take all the flak

Probably so but it's gold for the press to report on and hopefully will create more column inches. At least that's my thought process.

It might be peacocking a little but hopefully all stakeholders will take notice.

It's only the beginning I hope

I suppose I can understand your point from that prospective. I guess it's headline grabbing.

But put out a message they can report. All this shows is stupid pictures. Present facts. Present ideas. This presents nothing of substance

No logic here. The van literally points the reader to Project Reset, who have diligently been doing *exactly* what you suggest. At best this sounds like complaining for complaining's sake...

But how do you do that in a meaningful way on the side of a moving billboard?

I don't disagree with you and maybe Project Reset needs a pre-prepared statement to back up the actions today.

Agreed it is a little childish in the way the message is put across.

Not at all. Complaining about abusing a person rather than presenting facts. As soon as you attack people and not ideas there’s no real debate.

I agree the club has been chronically mismanaged and a protest about issues is needed. Insulting a man about Valentine’s Day isn’t doing that.

Great that you're on board ;-)

Tricky one, need to balance between impact and goal.  Can’t complain as these guys have gone to time and expense to make a stand so fair play to them.  But I’m not a fan of the Valentine’s Day one - just seems to be implicitly personal about him (not his love life obviously!)  and this should all be about the disastrous management of the club for a number of years.  Not sure how you do that though on the side of a van so again, can’t complain and credit to them.

Reminder to those who think the message could be delivered better than "perfect is the enemy of good"! What matters is winkling these incompetents out - and this is a great start

Is it? If people who actually agree with the protest disagree with message then that’s not a good start. If you can’t appeal to your base then how do you appeal to those outside that?

Yeah, to add to the positive side the discussion, "Premier Ambitions, Amateur Decisions" is a spectacular line.

Simple, puts the message across loud and clear, catchy.

Props to whoever chose that.

true but things like "Premier Ambitions, Amateur Decisions" do that, personal attacks like bet you didn't get a valentine's day card are kind of meaningless to the actual issues the club are facing and are quite childish. I'd personally have just stuck with the Premier Ambitions Amateur Decisions one and project reset circling rather than the rest.

Seen all of them now and there's mostly good ones in there so completely agree that I'd have ditched the valentine's thing and the tracksuit.

Regardless, fair play and big respect to @ozvaldo for putting his money where his mouth is and actually getting the ball moving. There's enough of a coordinated effort and a clear message that this will have an impact, in the right way (assuming some bellends don't ruin it today)

There’s going to be plenty of old school wallys who think they’re lcfc diehard for disagreeing with this. Same fans who sit on their arse silent all game but will have plenty to say on this.

For someone who claims to support the protest, you really do write in the manner of a KP fanboy. Cannot please a diverse fanbase, so why try

The turnout today needs to be big, and big enough that it can’t be ignored. If there’s just a handful, the protests will be easily dismissed and we’re back at square one with no credibility.

If you can get down, make sure you do!
