I do think it's time, but I'm wary of being sold to Americans who are looking to wring every penny out of the club; don't expect them to push for getting rid of the clappers/cheaper tickets/standing etc.

If that space cadet ran the club, we’d be playing on ****ing Mars. He’s mentally unstable.

Do you know him then?

like saying Kamala Harris can still become president, she just needs to get a better campaign team around her for 2028. maybe so, but it's not happening and there's too much baggage now for it to happen.

I disagree.

Sack Rudkin and get a serious DoF in and a lot of credit will be restored immediately.

I've wondered for a while how difficult it would be for anyone to buy the club with a statue of the previous owner outside the main entrance?

I don't mean any disrespect by this but it is a difficult one.

Could it be moved to the rememberence garden, stops it being disrespectful but still key part of our history.

The National Space Centre for the UK is in Leicester, Elon is a Space enthusiast and him reportedly keen (speculation about him interested in Liverpool) on buying a football club..

Doesn’t think he is….

Why are we talking about this bellend anyway, back to serious talk… Amanda Stavely and her Middle Eastern connections…..

Said it some time ago. Will say it again. There was a group of mostly local businessmen (not all, granted) who were interested investing into the club in the summer. That doesn’t mean they wanted full control but certainly a substantial enough investment given the calibre of the group. So there is interest based on that and it isn’t an American asset stripper or Arab state that many are scared of.

From what I was told, they were not even given a meeting or at least a meeting of note.

We are a pawn but for that reason holding the ownership to account and making it uncomfortable is absolutely imperative. Being all nice when it’s shit and we are having the piss taken out of us would be a long term disaster for the club.

Really can't decide how i feel about Top. I always feel bad wishing him out of the club, but that's more from what his dad did for us.

I know it all comes down to Top, because he continues to employ Rudkin, but is the general consensus that people would be happy with Top so long as he got rid of Rudkin?

I feel a bit for Top that he is so badly advised by those around him.

I wonder who advised him that it would be a good idea to have about 5 buses for the open top parade in the summer. Another thing he got away with..embarrassing.

Is the club for sale? Maybe the owners want to sell to a serious bidder over seas and wouldn’t consider local or regional investment no matter how substantial.

This isn't me trying to dig you out for this, but I see this a lot. How do we know that is true? He has the power to overule everyone. It feels like people just don't want to turn on him because of the past.

I doubt it given there was no meeting of note. This had an international interest. It was batted away.

I don't think Top is a bad person, naive maybe.

Millionaires aren't going to be 'normal folk. I think our fans are in cloud cuckoo land if they thing a Millionaire is going to come in and run the club for our benefit in a caring sharing way!

I think a lot of our fans have some mystical delusion of Vichai, he put all these people in position, the structure in place, KP have always operated in a bizarre way.

I do think Top needs better guidance, he pays people to do a job, and I think due to the tragedy he is too emotionally connected to people his father selected and trusted to fire them, I'm not really sure on the answer as they have to go.

what do you think Top should do?

Sell the club and a new board in be put in charge , but that's never going to happen, because  majority of the stadium can't care less to take a stand  against kp ,we get relegated this season, where going to need a reset which means I can't see coming back, could be 5+ years when where back in the prem easily!!

eh, much as Rudkin is a huge issue, he's not the only one. We've been reduced to desperately combing through the PSR rules looking for loopholes because we massively overspent. Yes Rudkin will have signed off on the wages as part of his duties but who is giving him the budget we can't afford under the rules, who else was responsible for whitewashing reviews for the last relegation? it needs to be sack the board, not just Rudkin, because the problem is with all of them.

I know it's easy to catastrophise, but I really think we could be looking at something that resembles 2004-2008.

Might win a game if we did play on Mars to be fair.

Might be a better atmosphere.
