He's a war leader. He can't afford to show weakness to Russia, the World, and most importantly his own people. Ukrainian position is clear: they won't support a meaningless 'deal' just because Trump wants them to, whatever the consequences. IMO it's clear that US wants out ASAP, ideally but not necessarily with a cosmetic Trump-dictated 'deal'. 

 

Trump's right about one thing: they're going to have to fight it out. I think everyone knows this.

 

And I don't even think it's hidden that Trump is using poor Ukraine as cover to engage on economics with Putin. Hey ho.

I am standing by that I think Zelensky knows what he is doing and is making everyone see Trump for what he is and pressing his buttons. He was able to make the World distance itself from Trump last week when he smoked him out and got called a dictator. Then the US sides with North Korea and Russia in the UN and then goes and stands up to him in his own office. It was an ambush and a shakedown and Zelensky left with exactly the same as what he entered with and Trump got nothing. 

 

Europe now upping defence budgets to stop being reliant on US tech. All this has done is isolate the US more. When Elon gets the boot in a few months,like Bannon did in the first presidency, it will be come more unpredictable, especially as right now it's not clear which way SCOTUS will fall on some of their rulings. 

 

Macron, Starmer and Zelensky all in a week fact checking them in their own house has been great. US becoming more isolationist by the day. And since people are dying of measles and bird flu there, crack on lads.

Honestly don’t get how anyone watched that and thought trump and Vance did anything well both come across as bullies and Zelenskyy didn’t give into them that must really piss them off even more. Not every one is as thick as their  cult like followers
