Passes the ball nearly twice a game, but his numbers aren’t mind blowing?! 🤯

Yet 1.5 key passes per 90?

I guess those stats hide the subbed on in 5 of those appearances and subbed off in 12 - in fact he’s only managed one full 90.

I don’t think Cooper rated him.

Its crap but i like it, to the tune of Only You (Yazoo)

All i needed was that goal you gave

All i needed was that pass you made

But all i ever knew

El Khannouss

I'll get my coat

I really don’t wanna go down especially with the likes of this kid starting to catch fire. I wanna see him play to the max next season in the premier league once our club sorts itself out.

Creating our goal showed his talent. I'm a bit concerned that if anything he tries too hard at times and makes reckless challenges. He won't be much use to the side if he gets sent off, and the management will somehow need to cool him down whilst keeping his desire to win/

I'm more worried about him getting injured.

What a wonderful footballer, an absolute gem of player in an utter steaming turd of a team.

He barely wasted a pass last night and some of his close control in tight areas was superb, for a player so young his ability to dictate play is way beyond his years, and his work rate is phenomenal.

I think he leaves for £40m+ this summer and  will go on to have a very successful career at the very top of the game.

Whoever scouted him deserves a massive pat on the back, as he is the dogs bollocks of a player one of a very few shining lights this season.

He’s not productive enough yet for anybody to justify dropping £40m on him. He will do eventually but not yet - 2 goals and an assist in 14 league starts doesn’t warrant that sort of fee.

He's surrounded by Reid and Ayew, with better players around him and I'm sure he'd have a better return.

Bring as we brought him for 20 odd million, doesn't seem much point selling him for that. He's on lower wages than some. I'd rather us try and find somewhere to lose the big wages and they are the problem.

George Rutter says different.

That said, I do love the thought of an Alves, Billy and Fatawu attacking three next season in the championship 🔥

That 3 with Mavididi rotating with Alves would be very exciting. Chuck in a decent young striker and we’re good at that level

He’d already had a good spell

in the Bundesliga before producing in the Championship. BEK had a promising but not off the charts start in Belgium

I agree but worse players have produced more in crap sides.

We can all see how good BEK is but it’s mostly potential at the moment.

If you’re a club with £40m burning a hole in your pocket do you put that towards Cunha with his 11 goals and 4 assists this season or, BEK with 2 and 1 respectively?

Maddison went for £40m (relegation caveat - will be same this summer) with a much higher profile and 5 good seasons in the PL, plus the English premium.

I think mavididi will likely be gone, but I agree with the latter part.
