Popular Post moore_94 Posted 28 January 2025 Popular Post Posted 28 January 2025 (edited) If Thomas leaves we probably need another full back in? Both Woyo and JJ can play on the left - I think in his time here JJ has been better on the left as well Lamptey and Coulibaly for RB JJ and Kristiansen for LB Edited 28 January 2025 by moore_94 11
st albans fox Posted 28 January 2025 Posted 28 January 2025 (edited) Makes absolutely no sense injury prone we don’t need him welcome tariq…… also, we know that our usual scouting technique is ‘has he played well against us?’ ’has he ever scored against us?’ Edited 28 January 2025 by st albans fox 3
South Shire Fox Posted 28 January 2025 Posted 28 January 2025 Kyle Walker Peters is the sensible choice if we’re after a full back with a contract expiring. This guy is a walking sick note 2
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 28 January 2025 Posted 28 January 2025 Can’t see him being sold for any less than what Thomas will go for so don’t see the point/need for investment here personally. We are tight on cash, prioritise positions we need!
UniFox21 Posted 28 January 2025 Posted 28 January 2025 For the right price he's definitely worth it, if it's a nominal fee then absolutely worth a punt 3

True, but knowing how slow we are at dealings I just feel the focus should be elsewhere. Unless this gives us a good few million extra this month to spend I think it’s a pointless signing.

Popular Post James_lcfc Posted 28 January 2025 Popular Post Posted 28 January 2025 Injuries aside for a second - He's pretty good isn't he? 29
coolhandfox Posted 28 January 2025 Posted 28 January 2025 (edited) It depends on the fee and contract. He is a good player, if and that's a big if we can keep him fit. Edited 28 January 2025 by coolhandfox
StanSP Posted 28 January 2025 Posted 28 January 2025 Considering he's free in the summer I hope we don't pay over the odds for him. Not something we usually do

TheGoldenGod Posted 28 January 2025 Posted 28 January 2025 Seems very strange for me now we know Ricky is on his way back and we've signed Woyo. Not at all what I'm expecting us to be going for before the month end. Get a bloody CB in and a winger.

RoboFox Posted 28 January 2025 Posted 28 January 2025 Would definitely improve us. Scored against us in December, didn't he? He's been absolutely ravaged by long-term injuries for the past few years, so it's a bit risky considering Seagrave is built on sacred newt burial grounds which doesn't allow anyone who steps foot on it to stay fit for more than 10 minutes. A risk worth taking I'd say. 2
