FWIW Dawson was a great signing for us last season. But this season he's picked up a few injuries, his passing has been utterly horrendous, positioning a little suspect from set-pieces, and time is clearly catching up with him. Maybe a change of scenery can reinvigorate him but at his age he's only going one way. 

 

I'd be happy to have Coady back. We're short on leaders in the squad and he'll provide good backup to our back three. 

 

Your problem with Coady is you wasted him by never playing him in his best role. He just can't play in a two. 

He didn’t waste him. He’s just shit. And a full time podcaster now

Not so long ago out back four was Ricardo, Fofana, Evans and Castagne. Now it could be JJ, Dawson, Vestegaard and VK.

 

Goodness me how far we have fallen under this rotten regime.

Wolves defender Craig Dawson made unwanted history on Wednesday as he became the second player to score multiple own goals in a Premier League match.

Leicester defender Wout Faes was the first to do it in the Premier League in a 2-1 loss to Liverpool on Dec. 30, 2022. The feat happened several times before the England's top flight rebranded to the Premier League, but Dawson became only the second to do it in the last 32 years since.

 

At least him and Faes have got something in common.
