That’s not how I read it. It’s only an obligation if they get promoted, otherwise he comes back. The 2m is bonuses probably based on appearances, or goals or something. Possibly staying in the prem after promotion

so we rejecting decent bids for players who arn't good enough (Mcateer & Thomas,) because we've left it too late to find the replacements that we needed anyway!

Article I’ve just read said we’ve rejected two loan offers from Sunderland doesn’t even mention buying straightaway . One loan and no option to buy and one loan and option to buy .

We had a 5m bid turned down for Iversen too didn't we? Relegation season?

an obligation is an obligation.  Usually would say an option unless promoted in which case it becomes an obligation (as per fatawu last season)

Maybe they targeted kasey because they couldn’t get adingra into the deal. Now they can’t get Kasey the whole thing falls apart
