Fair play, never thought for one minute it wouldn't be Sheffield United getting promoted.

Considering teams that breezed the championship have come straight back down this season, I dread to think how Sunderland will do, dont think they ever looked convincing in the Championship.

Oh well, big club so even if its just for a season, it will be good for them.

What makes Sunderland a big club? Not sure that an FA Cup win in 1973 and an old bloke in a rain coat and trilby counts

Many fans I suppose, they are well backed in fairness.

Big club taken in context, obviously not comparing them to Man Utd, Arsenal etc in stature.

But top flight football isn't new to them, and they've got an almost 50k stadium capacity with a respectable following.

I suspect Sheffield United will lose a few of there starting 11 in the summer and thats not even thinking about there loans they brought in, wont be anywhere near top 2 imo next season.

Cracking away day but wanted Sheff Utd to win. Think they’ll be up there next year and we could’ve done with them buying Hamza and paying the extra for Cannon.

Hopefully we keep hold of Souttar.

To be fair it’s hard to believe we sold cannon for actual money and still failed PSR again lol

That's not determined yet. The Cannon sale goes to the 24/25 season, for which the financials close at the end of next month. The one we've failed is 23/24, so compo for Enzo and sales of KDH, Barnes and Castagne (all in that year) didn't cover us off.

Let’s be honest I’m predicting the future lol

So Charlton the last to join the list of Championship sides for next season. We can't have played them for years, so at least that'll be an interesting trip away. Shame for Wellens and Orient though.

Shame about Orient.

I had plans to AirBNB one of the flats overlooking their pitch.

I'm also concerned that that twat Lamby might make the most unwanted comeback since Jimi Hendrix's vomit and @Finnegan is going to have to bully him off the forum again.

I'm honestly not sure what to make of him. He could be amazing, but he could just as easily be all hype. Not sure he's what we'd have needed and it gives us the chance to go for Röhl, who I think probably is what we need.

Rohl would be good

Shame it isn't happening

There Club has taken decisive steps though and unlike the last time in the EFL, you would expect them to be prepared and ready to hit the ground running.  Whether he is successful remains to be seen but, I would say they are ahead of us.

Looking like a good division actually next season. Some good away days in there. Must have been a long time since we’ve had two Sheffield away days in one season too.

Southampton will be up there i think,

we wont, because the club is run by actual dinosaurs who cant see beyond the end of their noses

Their squad makes ours look amazing.
