Those charlatans charge over a fiver for a bloody Jacket Potato, I’d argue that’s a bigger scam than anything BC Game has done tbqh

Joking aside they are bloody brilliant and the portions could feed a family of 4 😂😂

what I will say is that it’s really got the PNE fanbase buzzing, they are fans of the club and it has created some really positive momentum. Tomorrow they are launching the kit at the ground and the 1st 2,000 fans who buy a kit get a free jacket spud, it will be busy and definitely generate media interest and extra revenue.

Southampton managing to flog some deadwood to clubs in Italy and Turkey! Meanwhile no noise for any of ours and if we get any interest from these countries you know it’ll be loans with us paying most of their wages!

Onuachu set to join Trabzonspor

Southampton have agreed terms for striker Paul Onuachu to join Trabzonspor.

The 31-year-old is set to leave St Mary’s after a two-and-a-half year spell, in which he scored four goals in 40 appearances.

Difference is they probably pay a fraction in wages to their dross, where we massively overpay our shite, which makes it impossible to shift them on.

I have a sneaky feeling QPR are going to be on the up this year. Intriguing head coach appointment, snapping up talent like Poku on a free...

Watch this space, but I reckon they'll do well this season.

I was in Preston for a meeting a couple of months ago and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the queue for that place. People were waiting about 90 minutes. And the jackets are closer to a tenner than a fiver.

Even though there is a lot of uncertainty around the PSR penalty and identity of the new manager there are reasons to be hopeful.

Stolarczyk has shown enough to suggest he is more than capable to step up and be our No.1 this season.

In Mavididi, Fatawu, Monga we have pace and threat in attack.  With the likes of Alves and Evans also in the mix this is a promising source of assists and goals.

Hamza, Winks, McAteer, Nelson can operate in the Championship. Winks has a question mark over him because of his attitude this season but, if he knuckles down during preseason / under the right manager he could still be useful - so the jury is out on him.

Ricky P - assuming he stays - still has quality, if not the same pace as before.  He may not be able to play as an overlapping full back but would be a quality playing in midfield alongside a more mobile, physical midfield partner.

The standard in the Championship was poor 2 years ago. It may be more competitive this season but we dealt with Ipswich and Southampton at the end of the season, who are likely to be contenders for the title and I don't see us being a million miles off them.

Questions | challenges

We appoint a progressive manager that creates an identity and holds the players to high standards. I think Rohl is that but if not him someone whose career is on the up.

We need a reliable striker - have we got the money and scouting network to identify and bring in someone permanently (budget permitting) or a season long loan (just don't mention Edouard)?

How many need to be sold for us to be righteous under PSR and then how much of the proceeds raised can be reinvested in the squad.

Can we find buyers  for the likes of Coady (this one seems likely), Vestergaard, Faes, Mads, Bobby Reid.

I can see us finishing in the play offs - lots depends on the manager and that he is backed, allowed to spend a chunk of what transfer fees are brought in.

Agree with all this, however ONE small or big detail you are missing - Points deduction.
The extent of that will determine if we can keep up with Southampton and Ipswich.

It is true though, we still have a very good squad for this level, as much as we dislike many of these players, this level suits them and we should be in the top 3 strongest squads.

Definitely need a Striker though, and potentially a CB if we can get rid of Faes and Vestergaard.

Not saying we can reach automatic places, that would take a crazy, sustained runs of wins but I think we could get playoffs even with a 6-10 points deduction (expect we challenge anything above, there is some agreement reached to settle under this).

Will Sheffield Wednesday be liable to lose players for nothing if they aren’t paid soon ?

Apparently their owner has already said they can walk away, but won’t receive any payments…… I genuinely think they will struggle to out an 11 out. It’s beyond a mess, there’s no pre season fixtures arranged and potentially no one will turn up to training tomorrow.

It seems if the Players are not paid by Tuesday they can leave as free agents under league rules. It could be cheap way out for us to add a few Players at this level.

If Rohl is incoming Manager, Maybe he can bring in one or two players from S W that he likes and feels can fill a gap here.

Barry Bannan  would be a good buy although age will put some off I guess?

Do they not need to control a ball in that league?

Judging by the comments on the guy saints are signing, apparently not
