Wrexham looked pretty good in the first half an hour is so. Apart from a couple of breaks, they haven’t looked much at all. From what I have seen, and the swuad they have, I really can’t see them getting to the play-offs like some have suggested.

 

Southampton defensively looked poor. Improved in the 2nd half,  it I think partly due to Wrexhams form dropping off.

Why are people celebrating a confidence building opening day comeback win, from the side with possibly the most attacking strength in the League?

 

We know this Wrexham team is garbage, Ward/Coady are their best players, there's no hope of them challenging for promotion.

Feel for Wrexham here. They just don’t have the quality to finish some really good chances, should easily have had this game dead and buried at half time but they kept wasting chances. 
 

Southampton blatantly had more quality but thankfully for Wrexham they were constantly shooting directly at Ward in the middle of the goal. If Southampton had their shooting boots on they could have scored multiple too. 
 

Hope Wrexham stay up this season but they are nowhere near top 6 at this moment, was so surprised how many people bought into the hype of a top 6 challenge around football in general. Same for Birmingham.

Makes me feel a lot better about our chances this year.  Southampton should be good but that starting 11 was muck, what is will still doing? It’s only when you look at the bench you remember they could have a decent side.

Wrexham will struggle. Seeing that Coady shake of the head gave me flash backs to last season. Been following the games like the old times and getting my excitement back. I’m sure that will change if we mess up tomorrow!

Should we have again the same discussions as 2 seasons ago? If we're good enough we'll just cruise the league. I'm not gonna get bothered praying for other teams to drop points.
