Norwich's Marcelino Nunez to Ipswich for 10 mil.

They seem to be paying big fees for average players, Kasey a case in point.

That’s a controversial one, surely.

Buying a defender from West Brom and all baggies are falling over themselves laughing. Are they still the model club at this level?

Getting desperate and scattergun with first and second choice transfers not coming off I'd say, puts a lot of pressure on them to go up this year and not convinced they will. Wheels coming off!

We’ve seen it quite a few times in the Championship, where teams have spent lots, then struggled to get promoted.

Aston Villa, 2016 - 2018. Grealish finally dragged them back up in 2019.

It feels like Derby spent a small fortune under Mel Morris, then ultimately collapsed, around the same time period.

I can see Ipswich doing more of a Fulham if they don’t get the recruitment right, they’ll get promoted, however will YoYo for years. Wasn’t it something like promotion, relegation, promotion for 6 years on the trot?

I've not been impressed with Ipswich's signings at all, smacks of an outfit not quite used to being in possession of a decent amount of funds.

Yeah they don't really have a lot of squad players, surely they'll struggle to keep a fairly big squad happy when lots of them probably see themselves as starters

Is November 22nd seriously our first home game that’s a Saturday 3pm!? Absurd.

Madness innit?

Looking back, how many 3pm starts did we have when we won the Prem? Seemed like only a handful to me, though with the TV interest that season, it was inevitable.

I don’t get why we’re such a draw at the moment. We’re shit.

Not sure if its within their remit but this could be a task for this new regulator.  If they truly have the fans interests at heart then they could insist upon a guaranteed amount of 3pm Saturday kick offs.  Not holding out much hope, as always sky money will win out.

I mean it's quite obviously Birmingham who are the draw tonight, nothing to do with us.

We're still the biggest pull in the league for my money. Even if we're shit, we'll pique a neutral's interest more than a Southampton / Sheff United / Ipswich / Boro / Cov.

Our social media figures show that we're the most followed club in the league by a country mile.

Compare with Birmingham and the figures aren't even close.

Twitter - LCFC 2.7m vs BCFC 471k

Facebook - LCFC 9.6m vs BCFC 508k

Instagram - LCFC 7.8m vs BCFC 306k

TikTok - LCFC 3.7m vs BCFC 317k.

I don't think Leicester fans have a grasp on how much we rose in the last 15 years vs how far we've fallen to end up in the same position. Without being funny or arrogant, we're a genuinely massive club now in comparison to the clubs in this division.

The above shows instagram followers from when we were last in the Championship. Leicester had almost more than the rest of the league combined.

I'm just talking about from Sky's perspective. It's another chance for them to fill the pre game stuff with easy content around the owners.

Also there's so many TV slots to fill now we're naturally going to be on loads. I think people just need to realise 3pm is now what 5:30 or 12:30 was a few years ago.

Friday night against Brum absolutely stinks of trouble too. Saturday 12:30, I understand if it limits lout behaviour.
