Agreed. In a normal season they'd be a strong play off team. The league is so poor this season that the team in 2nd will barely get 80 points. All this makes our situation even more galling.

The two things are separate. You can be annoyed at your own club whilst wanting your rivals not wanting to succeed.

Respect where respect is due, Coventry may have not been the best team in the Championship this season, but at least the most consistent.

Their fans, no matter how few there are remaining, must rejoice the fact that the 25-year long suffering is finally over.

Patience is a virtue, eh?

 

It's going to be very interesting how they cope in the Premier League – and whether Lampard will want to stay. Could see him succeed Rosenior at Chelsea.

 

Now imagine MIllwall in the top flight.

Lampard’s a shite manager. He won’t last long next season.

 

Culture wise you’re spot on though. The reason for the success is because they’ve been brilliant at recruiting player wise for a good few years now.

Took the risk to sack a very popular manager and appoint Lampard which was a brave move but was backed and supported with the rewards of that tonight .
