Manager doesn't seem to think outside the box. Won't change formation, we sign one player but won't try him ahead of Justin either, ok but you can move Justin to left back where he's performed better for us in the past and play Coulibaly at right back. There's two fairly attacking full backs there. You can play El Khannous off the left, McAteer as a 10, Buonanotte on the right. There's your wingers you want to drift inside instead of old men doing it who've never been anything. Instead we line up with Thomas/Reid on the left and Justin/Ayew on the right and two DM's. Completely devoid of anything to excite.

In that system he’s sticking with but why not change it?

what system are you changing to to have two no 10s?

Jheez this posts sums up how bad it’s really got. I’m not saying you’re wrong but when we’re relying on McAteer and an inexperienced new signing to get excitement it really shows how far we’ve fallen.

Nistelroy grandstanding on tv 30 minutes before the game, 3 wins since he started….should be in the dressing room motivating, his time is up, complete failure

Have you scrolled down to the back 4?

As usual depressing, but at least it isn’t a Faes/Vestergaard combo.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Daka v Maguire for pace. Reckon Maguire’s more likely to score for us though.

Daka outruns him.. gets the ball stuck under his feet, maguire tackles him

RVN does speak well I think. Might ultimately not be successful here but he comes across as bright and intelligent to me.

I think McAteer would do a better job than Soumare. The guy has zero urgency and awareness and he is never going to get any better. Watch him jog around oblivious to any threat.

Here’s hoping that the return of Wilf is the sole missing piece of the master work

Will help in the league games if he's still fit when we play the teams around us

Daka’s pace has troubled him more than it has other people.
