6 Home defeat in a row without scoring??

What is the record?

I think we could be seeing history in the making. No reason to suspect this will be anything different to the no goal sequence losses. What a time to be alive.

This is one of those occasions where we have a half decent performance against a limp Arsenal team, gather some hope V Brentford…. But they actually turn up and put effort in, and blow us away without any issues at all.

They’re going to batter us, there’s no fight in this team, a couple of players care and the rest have all but given up.

Happy to admit that I’ve been wrong in the past with my backing of Ruuds selection at the top end of the pitch.

Whilst Vardy, Ayew and BDCR have experience and work rate they offer little to no threat.

Defensively, we were solid yesterday. The first goal wasnt helped by a tired clearance which imo came a result of the amount of defending we had to do. When we did with the ball there was no outlet. The ball just kept coming back and when that happens the defence will invariably cave.

The back 6 id keep how it is. In front of that is where we need to have a rethink.

For me the two options are either adding Winks and playing 4-3-3 with BEK from the left and Buonanotte from the right or keeping the double pivot and playing Mavididi, BEK and Buonanotte as the three.

Up top, I would start Daka. He presses better than Vardy and his pace will force the opposition to defend deeper than if Vardy was playing. He isn’t as prolific but has a better all round game and I think Vardy coming on for last 20 would have more of an impact.

All is not lost, we need to be braver with our attacking choices.

We start with Ayew, BDCR and Vardy up front. We don't score. Brentford score at least two.

Rinse, wash, repeat.

This is going to be this season’s equivalent of West Ham in April 2015: the catalyst for the run that keeps us up. Let’s go!

(I accidentally poured more syrup into my porridge than intended this morning).

I don't understand how a manager can lose 9 in 10, lose 5 at home without scoring and still basically pick the same formation and 11.

Mystifying.

Because the options are actually even more shit, despite our fans weird delusions that Mavividi will suddenly turn into prime Messi instead of the league 1 bloke from Derby with a few crap stopovers and no work ethic

I would actually play

Mavividi as a striker and drop vardy

Try something different please

Cuz right now RVN is the definition of stupidity

There are more options then just bring in Mavididi.

See @JimJams suggestion, there are plenty of formations that don't require wingers.

Feels like we've been here before - "promising" performance against one of the big teams, go into the next game against someone more regular, don't turn up at all and lose by 2 goals. Maybe we won't score again. Something something, ref did something wrong.

Bored now.

IF we had 2 fullbacks that could get up and down the pitch I think without massively changing his formation he could go 433 with Buo and ELK behind Vardy, pack the mid with an extra body and force your opponents wide.  But I don't know if we have an LB that can do that.

Now get this! We swap Vardy out for Patson and we'll start a game with a younger front line than the opposition!

I think we get 3 points just for that don't we?

I would like to see this.  Bilal and Winks would pass to VK if he gets forward as they aren’t greedy and thick.  Facundo is a better player when he doesn’t have Ayew in the middle, that’s when he seems to try and do too much as he’s a progressive player, unlike Ayew, but then his inexperience shows through rather than being a team player.

I would play Skipp instead of Soumare.  Playing Soumare is like playing with a man down.  Watch him closely and he jogs around marking no one.  He only reacts and that is too late if he can be bothered.  I’ve also noticed that he doesn’t go to help a player out, he stands and watches them. Brain dead.  Ndidi is doing two men’s work.

I just can’t be arsed to go there on a Friday night at 20.00 to watch the same gutless players strolling about like it’s a five a side. This manager hasn’t got and clue and that says a lot of the mess upstairs. Been going since 1963 and I have seen some lows but this lot are right at the top. Massive clear out from top to bottom. Pun intended

Brentford H - Brentford are shite away. WIN!

West Ham A -Potter have gone one point in their last 4 matches WIN!

Chelsea A - We know how it goes with Enzo at this stage of the season WIN!

Man U H - They're shite WIN!

Man City A - Pep plays it safe against the most in form team in the league and scrapes a point DRAW!

Newcastle H - Players will still be hungover from a league cup win weeks before WIN!

Brighton A - We scored 2 past them at home when we never score WIN!

Liverpool H - They've probably won the league by this point and will play the reserves to focus on Europe WIN!

So going into our big final 5 games of the season we'll be on 39 points after 33 games.

You've been having some of that 'special porridge' haven't you?

Ndidi being back has proven to me that we can take more of a risk up top. Ayew and Reid can make appearances when we have to sub Ndidi.

Hermansen

JJ if fit, otherwise Woyo

Faes

Okoli

Kristensen

Soumare

Ndidi

Buonanotte

El Khannouss

Mavididi

Daka

Ndid cant last the full 90, so we might as well start strong. Ayew appears when Ndidi can't run anymore.

Pretty much this line up.
