Pleat days we didn't win a away game for a whole year, and was in a division below

It just feels different,  I didn’t miss a game back in them days, we was sh*t, but this feels worse

I literally go into every game thinking we’re going to get hammered

We don’t create nothing, we look crap and we’re in free fall

Disaster he's joined the titanic with a industrial drill to ensure we sink faster ..

The whole club from TOP to bottom needs looking at

RVN does need to go, gave him enough time, hasnt been good enough one bit, shocking to say the least

Cooper wasnt the right fit either

Club spunked 5 mil on a 32 yr old "winger" who cant do naff all when we could have used that on a young up and coming manager

He won’t get us out of the championship…or probably even stick around to try!

Perhaps we should get the next manager in now and at least they have a head start for next season?

I would say the opposite. With the run of fixtures coming, a new manager is likely to get off to a bad start. Surely a fresh start in the summer is a better option. Saying that, RVN has now admitted he can’t get points against higher quality teams so what is the point of him carrying on? Maybe a stop-gap appointment to the end of the season is the best option.

Most of the blame lies elsewhere and he’s right, this squad is way off being good enough, but it was always a really silly important in the situation we found ourselves in.

It was an appointment made with very little sensible reasoning behind it. A couple of Caretaker wins against us and a legendary playing career should count for very little, but Top was drawn in by it.

For me its a big NO, he has had a chance as manager, and chosen not to change things, to at least improve our chances.

He’s a stubborn fool keeps playing the same players who shouldn’t be on the pitch leaving out players that should be playing, he plays the same each week no wonder teams have found us out and beat the Schitt out of us!

Is it time for him to go Yes but who the hell would we be able to get in languishing in 19th place ready to drop into the Championship plus there’s the cost of getting Rid of Rudkins Trophy signing, he talks about using young up and coming players we have a couple ripping up the academy side who are quality players both who score for fun, Evans & Monga are better than what we currently have yes they are teenagers but arsenal and the likes put their trust in their youngsters and look at them shine give them a go can they do any worse than we currently have I’d say no may even put a spark back in ?

We can’t see where the next win or draw will come from playing the RVN away which is knocking the Fuching confidence out of the better players we have in the squad so time to go yes thanks for trying Ruud but you’re not the Messiah Rudkin Whelan and Top thought you were “ TAXI FOR VAN NISTELROOY “ !

Problem now is we sack him and that’ll be the reason we’re not able to strengthen in the Summer for what will be a tough slog in the championship.  We’re just in a cycle of financial mismanagement which id hoped last season had fixed, but far from it.

Cooper was limited but got more out of this squad. He was more suited. At least we scored goals.

Van Nistelrooy hasn’t got a clue and you could see that weeks ago, I’ve been posted this since his arrival.

I’ve seen excuses made for Van Nistelrooy time and time again but ultimately he has made us far worse. 0 goals in 6 consecutive home games is a disgrace.

Totally agree, but  unfortunately it seems our "brilliant" players thought they were so much better than him and convinced our amazingly gullable owner of it too.

I never wanted Cooper but he was by hook or by crook keeping us out of the bottom 3, lots say by luck, well maybe or maybe he simply got the best out of rubbish, probably still wouldn't have been enough but the naive and disastrous appointment of van Rooney guarantees we go down in a far worse situation than last time.

Like you l saw this coming from day 1, l also knew that there would be multiple excuses provided for his failure by the cooperouts (all of which could have been used for Cooper but never were).

Appointing Cooper was a mistake, sacking him a bigger one and appointing van Rooney a suicidal farce.

Pleat was brilliant when he first came, as was Peter Taylor. The flip side being O'Neill who got off to an awful start and turned it around in spectacular fashion.

Maybe there's a lesson to be learned there particularly when a manager joins mid-season.

I think it's highly unlikely RvN lasts the season, if we don't get anything at West Ham we could well be at 3 points from 18 games by the time we play Wolves.

I don't think we would because the players weren't having him, they are the reason he was sacked. Those scrappy and frankly lucky wins were not happening again, the players turned on him.

Soft cvnts, same tossers that removed their shirts immediately after the whistle.

Correct.

Imo he's almost waiting to get sacked now. Playing that front three week in and week out is a disgrace.

I get he's been let down transfer wise and out recruitment is shit. But I've never seen a manger keep opting for the same team and tactics time and time again expecting a different result.

Any manager who hasn't scored at home since November deserves to be sacked. I honestly think he's one of the worst managers I've seen. At least try something different formation wise or change that front three.

What he's done to Buonanotte is a disgrace too. He's arguably our best player.

David Moyes is busting that myth!

Another excuse for the Dutch Peter Taylor.

He's still in charge so I guess we are stuck with him, if they were serious you would sounded out other managers to bring straight away and he would have been sacked straight after the game yesterday, but that clearly isn't going to happen.

When was the last time we sacked a manager immediately after a terrible result rather than 1-3 days later?

I used to be home and away every week during that period, remember when we finally won away v Stoke, 1-0 Gary Mills. Some lads started signing jingle bells and got shushed quickly by the nervous supporters around them. lol
