The big problem here is that why didn't Ruud get any decent support staff. Coaches and a number 2?

I remember even Jaap stam (?) saying he would help if asked.

It is total mismanagement from the board.

He brought in Jelle ten Rouwelaar and Brian Barry-Murphy was brought in in December, not sure of that was RVN appointment or club.

So that's two, same number of coaches Moyes brought in a Everton.

Another excuse for RVN.

Fair enough I haven't been paying attention

Why don't we get somebody who knows f**k all about football to appoint the next manager  .... and base the appointment on looks ... dress sense ... how nice they smell ... hair style ... good teeth ...   oh I think we have ... apologies

What about bringing in Dyche. Contract proviso he keeps us up. Similar to what we did with Dean Smith

See my previous post on this. If you are Dyche why would you take a 10/11 game deal? He's not stupid. Reason why Dean took it is because noone else would have him.

We cannot replace RVN till the end of the season, it's pointless. No manager will want relegation on his CV, not unless they're desperate or deluded they can turn things around with this squad.

I'm pretty sure RVN will completely alter his tactics on Thursday, more towards what the fans want, and we'll still get beat.

Why for one minute do you think he'd want to come? Don't think he's been interested in the past and we're far worse off now!

I don’t want him but could see us getting Carrick. On the verge of getting sacked at Middlesbrough. A big ish name which seems to be more important for the club rather than having an experienced decent manager.

The issue is we're all discussing potential managerial replacements, while we have a board and an owner that seem to be completely incapable of running the club. Honestly, it's been discussed hasn't it that since the hay day of Rodgers before he chucked us over board we have been in deep decline. Finances, player sales/ buying model, expectations, psr, mangerial appointments, ect. I personally don't think the club are capable of steering us out this hole. Wholesale changes are needed and fast.

No self respecting manager is coming to work for the club in its current form. The only **** who will come is one who is fully aware he’s gonna get thrown under the bus by the players and just wants the severance payout.

Let's be honest, Ruud won't ve going anywhere for a good few weeks yet. The board are notoriously slow to make decisions and with a tough fixture list to come, they'll probably wait for a few more defeats so that no one outside the club can question another sacking. Obviously it'll be too little too late by that stage, but it's wasted energy to think they'll be working wonders behind the scenes.

It's quite obviously going to be something related to Brian Barry-Murphy. Assistant to Russell a possibility but more likely on his own with his own assistant.

Just follows on from the 'lets dominate possession' approach and ex-Man City academy management coach following Enzo. Think a major difference based on his time at Rochdale and at the Man City Academy is we will see a lot of youth coming in to the squad, which a lot of us want to see and besides, may be forced upon us who knows.

A Dyche-led team would be grim and horrible to watch, but also grim and horrible to play against, and that's what we need more than anything right now. We can worry about the fancy stuff later. I'm just fed up of seeing teams practically walk right through us with no resistance.

We're down. Wolves will slowly pull away and by mid April we'll be 12 adrift.

Sack Ruud

Let King and Vardy run it

Drop all the crap and disinterested players like Faes who won't be here next season and just play the youth.

I'd rather we lost every game playing 4 or 5 of the under 21s every week than losing every game playing the shite we're playing now.

So we are left with dross options sadly!

I reckon Gerrard would throw his hat into the ring, he’s not getting another premier league gig at a higher end / mid table team, and if not can see him managing us and also in the championship when we get relegated.

He couldn't be worse than what we have already though, right..
