Bring more of the people who were involved in Southampton losing 9-0 twice sounds like a great idea

What is also a great idea is bringing in a manager who will use the likes of Nelson, Alves, Monga, Evans.

Of managers that are available, Hasenhuttl is one of the strongest candidates where youth development is concerned

Make it happen.

I know this was a joke but this would be a great appointment.

I’m choosing to believe that we’re waiting to be classed as a championship club to then get the cheaper comp for Rohl and cheaper sacking for Ruud.

Intrigued what went on behind the scenes, Geoff wouldn't come out and say Martin was likely to get the job if it wasn't so

His wording was interesting I think. Can’t remember the exact wording but it didn’t 100% confirm it.

I think talkSPORT word fed info from someone close to Martin to push rangers,

How are people more in favour of Carrick than Russell or Dyche  lol

Carrick outwitted Enzo twice, got his tactics spot on.

Would prefer a manger who is pragmatic rather than cut and paste setup like robots every week.

Talk sport mate. If it was him posting on here I’d believe it, but as part of their media team… take it with a grain of salt.

Russell and Dyche actually got a team promoted though

I’m not saying Carrick is my choice but he’s a better choice than Martin.

Carrick is more likely to want to progress his career by building something with a club where Martin is an arrogant tosser who his only interested in progressing his own ego

Beat me to it 😂. Was literally the only other Ralph I could think of that hadn't been mentioned 😂

Trusting our inept owner and Rudkin I have very little faith in them picking anyone who we wont be laughed at by the footballing world.

We got lucky with Enzo, it was a gamble but paid off.

We will get a combination  of Puel/ Taylor and Worthington!!!

Don’t get the criticism of Puel.
He was what was needed at the time.
Certainly have him over some of the rubbish that’s been mentioned.

Boro have had to rely on young players and loans, as a rookie coach he's done pretty well by all accounts so far. I'm sure if Carrick had Southamptons budget and squad he would have got them up too.

Russell is a Vegan which is weird apparently and Dyche is Ginger and a bit rough. Carrick is all young and sexy new manager material.
Football doesn’t come into it. 😀

I also love Pascal Plancque. Puel and Plancque always sounded to me like a French comedy duo from the 80s. Their version of Hale and Pace.

Has anybody asked Graham Potter if he fancies the job?

I think Collomosse was right when he said Leicester and Potter would have been a better fit. He’s got a massive job to do at West Ham with owners not known for their patience. I think he would have had a lot more control here as well. But won’t happen now, he’ll want to prove himself there.
