Truthfully. Is anyone even remotely interested in this game? watching, debating selection, wondering if we stand a chance of nicking a win? id rather watch the new bergerac, which by all accounts is an atrocity and an affront to the legacy of John Nettles.

the reality is - not a single fan should be wasting their hard earned £150 or so to go and support a checked out squad, an amateur manager and a checked out board go through the motions against a side whose supporters are themselves not planning to attend until the 9th minute because of their clubs new deal with viagogo.

maybe lcfc fans going should filter in to the stadium between 15/16 mins to protest the vandalisation of the club since the premier league win, with a full rendition of sell the club and sack the board on entry.....

I have a few suggested motivational songs for our stalwart and hard working players. I don't think we should sing them (before i get blue mongied) but i think the players 100% deserve digging out for the repeated brain farts and general shiteness that will see us relegated a second time despite international players on big salaries.

To the tune of Too Shy - "Wout Faes Faes - **** off back to France...."

to the tune of Volare: "Soumare wooah, Soumare woaaahh, he's looking alright then he does summat shite"

To the tune of Slow Hand by the Pointer Sisters

"Vestergaard is a Slooowwww Man
Yeah he might have  an easy touch
What we needed was a  turn of pace
But he's an overpaid, busted flush
Maybe Rudkin didnt  understand?
Vestergaard is a Slooooow Mannnn

To the tune of Chim Chimmeny: "Skipp skippety, skipp skippety, you are the worst, signing of all time, please walk back to Spurs. Skipp skippety skipp skippety, and when you do, see if theyve got space for Harry Winks too..."

To the tune of The Adamms Family: " Bilal and Hermansen, are really ****ing Handsome, They'll both hold us to ransom and move to Premier League.Dah Dah Dah Dah Duh Duh.

To the tune of Billy Ocean's Get Out of My Dreams' (and into My Car): "Get out of Our Team, Edouard and Daka. We're out of our minds, if you're the answer. See See You You. Edouard and Daka....."

Is this on tv?

It's not and this is a relevant point with all the talk about illegal streaming currently. In the past few years all midweek games have been on TV, either Amazon or BT/TNT, but now Sky have this week's matches (bar one on TNT) and there are two live matches out of nine.

There is no blackout, Sky put all midweek EFL games on, why aren't these?

It's actually inexplicable that you can't watch games like these when they'll be a full camera crew at every single Premier League game. They manage to broadcast every EFL game with only a couple of cameras there. They didn't even show replays last season, don't know if it's changed.

Even the blackout stuff is a load of shit now. If you lifted it every game will still be a sell out and I highly doubt it would effect local games. If anyone wants to stay at home and watch Man United instead of their local team (which I find a myth anyway) you can do so.

Would you rather us win this or Man City beat forest? 👀

Us losing this and Man City beating Forest would do me. We're down anyway, so watching Forest bottle UCL qualification and go another year without silverware would suit me just fine.

Just don't do it to yourself

I think it's streamable (that's not a real word btw so therefore isn't a thing) but why risk it for the inevitable embarrassing shafting?

Mood has been so much better whilst our shit show of a team has had a nice rest at Spagrave.

Now back to business and trying to understand if we will even score another goal for the remainder of this season!

I remember doing a thread in 22/23 asking people when they "knew" we were doomed.

Was 10000% the second half against Palace for me. Just felt like such a massive kick in the teeth and we haven't played half as well as we did in that first half since then.

Yep - the horse bolted so long ago, that the stable it left is now in ruins, FFS :P

Ruud van Nistelrooy started with an update on injuries

He says Ricardo could be available after missing the Manchester United game.

"He's doing really well and hopefully we can get him back on the training pitch today and tomorrow and try to have him ready for Wednesday."

Van Nistelrooy was asked about how he's used the international break with his players.

He says they worked a lot on developing the new system used against Chelsea and Manchester United.

He also says it was a productive period
