Why do you care about that?

I just think we're more likely to force a change with more positive media attention than negative. "King Power Out" may just be seen as a petty sign from some disgruntled fans upset the club is on a bad run but questioning the decision making may just get more people to take more notice, discuss it more and even back the fans calls for change which is more likely to help.

It clearly (to me) isn’t that they care about that. What they are saying is that if the wider footballing community think it’s just an entitled minority, it will be easy for the club to brush under the carpet. The project reset stuff, the element of success it did have, was that the media talked about it and not in a negative, dismissive way.

At some point, there will be no where else to turn but pointing the finger at dickhead or KP. I get it, the KP lovers are incredibly aggressive, violent and lack control. At some point, we will have no option but to call them out. Surely that’s better at Liverpool at home, a game on telly that will be beamed across the world rather than Stoke at home in front of 16k and no outside interest whatsoever. The last set of games where we can really hammer home the message.

I think we are at that point now, it's definitely a time for something, a change, a compromise, I'm not against KP or Top personally, but I now find the inaction to improve what we have been subjected to as fans and on the pitch insufferable, which is why I am behind this, will it achieve anything time will tell, if it doesn't we may well end up being that yo yo club that will eventually sink to insignificance with a fan base happy to go along with it, if that's the case, so be it, but at least we can say we tried whether you agree with the message or not.

Because King Power are about reputation. You only have to see how the communications are orchestrated. We saw how they successfully the debt buyout into a great unnecessary that Top did when in reality PL rules introduced a rule on debt.

If the media narrative is fans are being entitled, they keep a portion of existing Leicester support with them, the national press keep idling along with the great owners line and it doesn't affect their business or standing in Thailand.

The day the football club begins to affect their reputation is the day that Top gets a tap on his shoulder, the money gets pulled and King Power go back to concentrating domestically on saving face.

There's a 'set of scales' - at one point, opinion will eventually turn against them and it will snowball but they may double down on everything too. We've seen how ego can cause that in football.

That's nothing personal against you, I just struggle to see how much more mismanagement it would need for people to get there

It’s incredible how so many people think that if Top just changes Rudkin out, we’ll be OK. People don’t question why Rudkin is in that position in the first place and why he was put in charge of OHL and King Power Racing.

It’s not because he’s the world’s greatest football man or director. It’s because he works for King Power and does King Power’s bidding.

I do wonder if it is because they are not actually aware of all that. If you just take your headline type news on LCFC from say the website, the mercury and the bbc you just won't pick up on it.

That’s a great fantasy but at our club, our DoF is only the conduit for Top’s decisions. Everyone saying we just need Top to bring in better people at the club is also asking for the owner to give up a certain level of control that he does not appear to be willing to cede.

Absolutely this.

Whelan and Rudkin are amongst the very few outside of Thailand (if not only two)  who know (and are allowed to know) how financially murky KP are.

They are in post equally as they can be trusted rather than solely due to professional competence.

Just have to look at the donations for the original banner.....do that first and i'm sure we would get the same for another to "up the game"......King Power out just seems like us being spoilt brats and doesn't get the whole picture out.

Yeah, you’ve probably nailed it there. I can only hope that at some point more people start to question why we have that kind of setup.

I think a word that incorporates what most fans are frustrated with is transparency - the lack of it, if there was a something that could articulate that on a banner, think most would agree that, or another angle is fans being treated as customers, they need to understand without fans, they're nothing.

Hello all.

Just wading through a combination of abusive direct messages, some constructive messages and a few refund requests … I think this will be my last initiative!  Cba with the hassle and having to calm down grown men.

Anyway…

We’ve had to issue 3 refunds in total so far.

I’ve sent an update out on Go Fund Me (it’s on the fundraiser page, and you might also get an email about it - check your spam and junk folders)… but basically I’ve asked if people can send a message to me on GoFundMe by this Saturday if they’d like a refund.  I feel like that’s an acceptable amount of time.

Last time I checked we had gone back below the total, but I think we’ve just crossed the line again. However - it will probably change from now until Saturday as I expect a few more refund requests to filter through.

As a refresher, here is the fundraiser page:

Cheers for now.

Certainly more have, you look at this place to show that.

In the stadium itself though thats vastly different.

Genuinely on a management basis day to day running they have been appealing.

However what they have done is invest, you can argue that they have invested in the wrong places or wasted that investment on rubbish but to suggest that they don't back the team with money is easily disproven.

There is no guarantee a new owner will do this.

So whilst there needs to be a complete change/ overhaul in the day to day running of the club that is what I want to call for rather than asking to be sold to some complete unknown

Dont worry, the fans that matter support your work.

The cuckolds can fvck off as much as Top can.

(Not aimed at those wanting refund as they clearly support the message, just not the slogan which is fair enough)

Fair play for sticking your head above the parapet mate.

It doesn’t surprise me in the slightest that many are reacting how they are.

Im neither for or against ‘King Power Out’ but it’s better than nothing. For what’s it’s worth I like the ‘Top Ambitions, amateur decisions’.

We have such a weird fanbase.

Not a fan of the new message. But if we have some extra money left over, maybe it can be put towards a large sign/tifo that some people can carry down the road towards the stadium for the game with the original slogan??
