I hope they do the full 200 compilation. That’s just the Premier League

There's probably some stage of researched grief but I'm not ready for this.

I have been trying not to think too much about it since Sunday but I am absolutely not ready to look back. It's enough looking forward.

It's only a center forward leaving a football team but my ****ing word I'm going to miss watching Jamie Vardy play football for Leicester.

It might even have impacted how much I enjoy watching football full stop.

I desperately want him to go abroad than play for another club here (ideally would have just retired). But if his wish is to stay in England, I really hope one of the big clubs take a chance on him (no that does not include Spurs!) even if marketing ploy just for a season. Just so he gets to experience it and score the remaining goals to get to 150 with competent players to assist.

It would break my heart to see him at absolute fodder who were below us not long ago. Even clubs like Villa and Wolves wouldn't sit right with me at all

Perversely, if that happens then good.

Man City have announced KDB are getting a statue... Disappointing our club didn't go that far for our legend!

Am i alone in not giving a **ck. I have the memories, the photos and when i need them the youtube clips. Rather have those than seeing Vardy Road near the stadium. For now at least. Always feel its best to give these things some time, especially when the player is moving somewhere else.

I'd like to see it one day, but immediately - nah - im not fussed.

I reckon i burned 1000 calories when that goal went in on sunday. Those are the moments i will cherish.

It would just sum us up to have a statue of a bloke who is going to score against us next season.

Probably wont happen but time is indeed needed imo.

What have “passive fans” got to do with this?

Probably already been posted on here, apologies if so. But incase anyone has missed it, I think this is a cracking interview with JV.

What a modest, down-to-earth, first rate fella - as well as our very own GOAT.

A lovely interview by Tyler. Ir still brought a tear to my eye watching Morgan lift that League winning Trophy.

Could Vardy make shock move to Palace?

Jamie Vardy has been linked with a shock move to FA Cup winners Crystal Palace, according to The Independent.

Vardy - who scored his 200th goal for Leicester on his 500th game for the club last weekend - will leave the King Power when his contract expires this summer.

The 38-year-old is said to be keen to remain in the Premier League and the Eagles are one of the club's interested in offering him a deal.

Vardy is just five goals away from 150 in the Premier League, a feat only 11 players have achieved

I’d love to know what’s gone on. It’s something deeper than him just wanting to leave I think, Rudkin still sat in the stands on his ceremony wasn’t he. Fair play to him wherever he goes he’s the best we’ll ever see playing for this club. Legend

Just going back over my post from few days ago. 100% Vardy knew about these issues and doesn’t fancy spending the rest of his career in the championship. It was a good send off but when you watch it back something was going on behind closed doors. Can’t fault him for getting out.

Why?

He's good enough for 1 more year in the PL. He deserves it and doesn't owe LCFC anything. I'd rather seen him play at the highest level than disappear off to Scotland, Saudi or MLS.

Rooting for him to get to 151 PL goals.

It just signifies our complete collapse that he is leaving us to move to Crystal Palace. But yeah on the face of it, FA Cup champions, playing in the Europa League next season, based in London. Yeah it is a good move.

It just stings that Palace are now so ahead of us. But the same goes for Fulham, Brentford, Brighton, Bournemouth, Forest, all smallish clubs that we have been ahead of who have now overtaken us.

151 the Owen reference I presume?
