Still anyone really. I mean he’s perfect for any big club playing 60 games a season. 30-40 a game he’ll last for a couple of seasons. Always got a goal in him.

Could see him getting a good gig at Newcastle. Basically a massive upgrade on Wilson and would be happy to play 2nd fiddle to Isak. They lack a lot of experience too.

A lot of the media personalities and pundits are fixated on the title win obviously. But it's unbelievable what he's managed outside of that too which really sets him aside as our greatest ever from the other title winners. This list doesn't even do him justice, there's so much more!

 

Part of the Championship side that came up in the first place. Then goals like West Brom away in the Great Escape which effectively lead the momentum to keep us up. He was also among the highest PL assists that season!

 

Represented us for England at Euro 2016 (and later the 2018 WC) scoring that equaliser against Wales! In fact most goals scored by an England player while at Leicester.

FA Cup winner (only player to have played in every round through his career - most with us)

 

Community shield winner (also scored our first goal at the new Wembley in first community shield vs Man Utd)

 

Consistently been our top striker in the league under multiple managers and strike partners/systems

 

To get relegated, spearhead another Championship win as top scorer and Captain. And as shambolic as this season has been at 38, he's still our top scorer. 

 

Third on the all time club list for both goals and appearances with 200 in 500. 14th on the all time PL goalscorers. The most scored by any player after the age of 30 (only he has reached the 100 mark).

 

No one and I mean no one will ever come close to replicating even half of that from the stage and level of his career we brought him from. Iconic

It was extremely obvious from the beginning you just werent allowed to point anything like this out. 
 

Still annoyed we are going into a game worth 3 million on Sunday without our best striker because the board were scared of a few boo’s.

It's annoying the club have been able to deflect but Vardy asked to finish for us at home. He deserved that.

 

3 million isn't going to break the bank or affect any punishment significantly.

This suggests that the club forced Vardy to finish 1 game earlier, rather than it be his decision. 

 

I know you'll keep banging the drum on this point, but it seems obvious to me that it was Vardy's decision to stop with the Ipswich game and for many, legitimate reasons.

When allowable losses are 88 million or something like that, 3 million is absolutely going to affect things.

If it was Vardy’s decision i’d like to hope he has forgone any wages or bonuses due as he’s effectively decided to stop showing up for work. After todays news we arent in a position to be sentimental we need to get a grip of finances and fast otherwise we face footballing oblivion.
