I’d never really thought about it until just now - he’s been at the club for roughly half of my life and then entirety of my adulthood. In a sense all I’ve ever known is Vardy.

On one hand how fortune I am but how the **** do we go on. Nobody will ever compare.

Never will we have a player so great and so loyal again. A true legend, a total privilege to have seen him and success that the club is unlikely to see again in my lifetime. It’s a great shame the legacy of 2016 is destroyed. That said time to rebuild and try again. We must make decisions quickly to put the club in the best position to move on, no fannying around till June 30th.

Still annoyed at the commemorative Vardy programmes being sold out 1 hour before kick off and then seeing blokes old enough to know better with stacks of multiple copies that they’ve been allowed to buy. My 9 year old missed out. It should’ve been one per ticket. There’s none online left with the club and there are loads on eBay for 10x the price ffs.

Are bellends selling flags too? Saw loads of absolute halfwits collecting 30 flags and some stealing honesty flags. Really what are you gonna do with them all? Bit ****ing weird for adults if you ask me.

Played during the reign of 3 Popes, 3 US presidents, 6 UK prime ministers.

Good report and comment section highlights how much other fans loved Vardy and get his significance.

Also picks up nicely on fan unrest

Favourite from the comments;

Professor Jamie Vardy clarified the immediate and ineluctable causal relationship between 'chatting shit' and 'getting banged' to such a degree that future scholars will refer to it as the Universal Vardyan Law of Shithousery.

Well done if that was someone here!

I think it was a gift acknowledgement of what vichai & family mean to him and what they’ve done to make his story happen.

i think it’s fine. I can’t be that bitter despite how this season has gone. It’s a personal thing between them let it be.

I don’t know how anyone can take issue, they have a bond.
For all Tops failings, he is heavily emotionally invested in the Club. The significance of the last of the golden era leaving runs far deeper for him because that’s the last part of the legacy his father created. I hope he makes the right  decision and Rudkin exits soon and Top manages to turn it around before it’s too late.

I don't think Leeds will sign Vards but I sort of hope it happens, just to see the mental meltdowns that would cause on here. lol

When people say “you couldn’t make it up” it really fits for Vardy. His underdog roots, accomplishments and then to end on exactly 200 goals from 500 apps and 13 years since signing… it’s been fate all along.

And with 9 goals to match his number.

The interesting question is where does he play football next?

If he thinks he can still play at Premier League level, then where does he go?

I still think it’ll be surprising where he ends up. Man Utd?

Absolutely the perfect way for him to bow out

13 Years to the day he signed

500th appearance

scores his 200th goal

playing at home in front of a packed KP

win 2-0 in his final match

it makes absolute sense for him to bow out this way rather than next week at Bournemouth.

It’s a strange feeling to wake up in a world where Jamie Vardy is no longer a Leicester City player, it’s going to take some getting used to, even 1st day of pre season and the photos of players coming into the building and then the training shots, will be so weird not seeing our Goat there.

Wrexham actually does make a lot of sense. Championship is probably his level at this point, and he'd love the attention.

I think he really doesn’t want the championship

Agreed. I’m feeling a little strange this morning. Amazing send off and the best way to do it, but there’s a hollow feeling this morning.
