Most of our fans think we’re going to just piss the league again.

Massive reality check incoming. We ain’t coming back up.

You're half right, we're going down again.

Might apply for a job at LCFC because it seems you can do absolutely nothing, be completely terrible at the job and still get paid without the risk of the sack.

Was it blue on blue or blue on KP

RVN Post Match

Ruud on performance

RvN: “Disappointed with the performance. Against Brighton and Liverpool, we did everything we could in every sense and today wasn’t in that line, so that was disappointing.”

Why couldn't you match Brighton and Liverpool performances?

RvN: “Confidence is a big thing at the moment. The players go into the game and they want to build on these performances, the reconnection with the away supporters. The players want our captain to be in the best place possible in his final game for the football club.

"But in little moments, the game changes and confidence drops. Then it’s difficult. There were two moments after the break where we were too open and they counter-attacked us.

"Other than that we could have got ourselves back into the game with Bilal’s shot opportunity and of course Jamie’s penalty and get another goal for the football club. That was also a big blow for him and everyone.”

Mention Vardy leaving in pre-match team talk?

RvN: “Yes, to give him the best possible farewell. I addressed this, his impressive career at this club, explaining how long it’s taken, how many games he’s played, how many goals he’s scored. For us, there is responsibility for the last three games he’s going to play for the football club, do it in the best possible way. I think everybody tried but it wasn’t good enough.”

Any talks held over your future?

RvN: “No.”

Any date set?

RvN: “No.”

Feel like your future will be judged on these performances?

RvN: “It’s normal when you’re in the Premier League, you’re always judged. So, yes.”

Said on the TV that first half was unacceptable? Then made three subs?

RvN: “One was a concussion of Facundo, he was throwing up at half-time. Ricky had another injury, a muscle injury. So that’s two massive blows for the team. Bobby came off with a muscle injury before the break. We are conceding blow after blow in results, but also in losing personnel. The other substitution was Oliver Skipp for Bouba.

"I expected more of the first half in the sense of intensity, winning the duels, don’t lose the ball too easy. It caused too many transition moments. In that sense I was disappointed. It’s unacceptable because those are things you can manage. It’s a mindset. That inconsistency is frustrating. It’s hard.

"Then you have to address it in the second half. Those bits were better and it’s a foundation to perform. That’s what I meant.”

Today's defeat produced the 10th. double of the season against us.

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brentford, Chelsea, Fulham, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Newcastle and Wolves have all taken maximum points off us.

We've also not gained a single point against any of the top 8, with one game (against Forest) still to play, from amongst that group.

It's normal in any job and in any other paid employment he'd be long gone!

Kicked when one of the happy clappers was found out to have brought cheese sandwiches instead of prawn and worst of all it was on thick white bread instead of malted brown bread .... I mean ... some people

Every time we got the ball, they were anticipating and running to challenge. If one player missed the tackle there were 2 waiting.

We are tactically miles off.

We need to find a system that works for the players.

There is no sharpness and our attacking ability has been coached out.

Very poor today

Errrr, how can he not be?

Yes the team lacks quality, BUT it's way, better than the current sum of its parts.

Under a competent manager this team accrues more points than we currently have on the board, and also  performs better than we have witnessed.  RvN's win loss record is embarrassing and 5 out of 20+ of games he been "in charge"  where we actually take points from teams around us and not gift points to them the table looks a little different.

Fair point. I just think RVN hasn’t been given the easiest ride by decisions over the Summer at all levels of the club. I do think Ruud should take some responsibility and it worries re at press conference that he seems to blame others and the gulf between leagues.

Thankfully I didn’t bother to watch it.

Anyway, surely RVN must resign right now. Or must be sacked. Worst ever manager.

He's not going to resign because he's got 2 years on his contract , and according to Sky we can't afford to sack him until after July 1st so we're stuck with him for a few more months.

Anyone else think Vards was lucky not to be done for serious foul play for the penalty he bought today or is it just me?

Having watch the highlights, I agree with you.
