So we offered Martin the job and he got fed up, went elsewhere.

We know Dyche has been to Seagrave, what if he was offered the job and like Martin has thought ‘sod this, rudkins a t*** and Tops a daft idiot’ and turned us down.

Now we are having a go at Rohl as third choice and refusing to pay a very small amount of compensation. We’ve already lost Rohls GK coach and likely soon his assistant, Pedersen.

We are gonna end up with another Cooper-esque appointment.

never understand why this is made a big deal, out of work managers tend to go to other training grounds to watch/learn

its a pretty common thing

It’s absolutely insane.

We are going into the second week of pre-season with the following:

No new/updated kit

Sponsor troubles

PSR doubts

Pending fines

Pending points deductions

No manager/head coach

No assistant

No GK coach

No SENIOR fitness coach

No senior Performance analyst

No significant outgoings

No incomings

No statements from the board

Sick of Top and Rudders. Sooner we are sold to competent people who then recruit a sporting director and DOF, the better.

Yeah but you're just entitled and moaning.

Wouldn’t surprise me if after all of this, it’s just Dyche…

bookies favourite throughout. Wilder link just something to make Dyche seem not so bad.

also makes sense with the brownhill rumour if true 🤷‍♂️

only thing that doesn’t add up is you’d think it would be done by now. Tanner also says Dyche would want full control which Top and Rudkin wouldn’t allow so who knows!

Nah Dyche would’ve been announced early last week if it was him.

Its either gonna be Rohl, Wilder or Carrick.

Doubt Hassunhuttl would come tbh.

Im still not sure if it is Dyche,

as you said it would have surely been wrapped up by not, its 6 days into July and he isnt in

on Brownhill, a part of me on that feels like he wants to stay at Burnley but trying to get a lil more money out of them

its the Rohl stuff that has got me, first it was announced he was wanting out at Weds and negotiating a way out, the next day RVN is sacked; then its the other links, he plays the way Top likes, Glover rates him highly too, not sure what rudders views on him are, but hes been sounded out for months too.

feels like the club are waiting for the Wed Rohl stuff to finish first then move forward

what im hoping anyway

Yeah but it's usually something like Eddie Howe going to study Simeone i.e. there has to be someone worth learning something from. I'm not sure Dyche is going to have been in touch asking if he can shadow Andy King (no offence Andy) and even if he did want to do that, the rumour was that he had been at Seagrave before pre-season had started. Unless he just really fancied a tour of the place or was dropping in for a catch up with his old mate Rudkin it seems a reasonable assumption that if he was indeed there it would have been as a candidate for the job.

Surely someone with Dyche's experience would want to be there in preseason day one to stamp his authority and get prepared. If he's free and available surely that would have happened as he's an experienced manager and he knows how important that part is.

Yeah but they care and have done so much for us though

Owlstalk are talking about takeover. If that's the case I wouldn't be surprised if Röhl stays there knowing the future is better. Would depend on if the new owners want him or Rooney.
