We used to be a proper team now the highlight of our season is hoping Forest finish 7th

It is sort of gut wrenching it’s almost been a decade. We’ve done so much and ****ed up way more in that time - Vardy going has made me all the more pensive.

Imagine winning the league, winning the FA Cup, getting relegated, promoted, relegated again. And Spurs still haven't won anything

 

I remember saying back in 2016 that I think we'll win the league again before Spurs do it for the first time...

I can’t begin to imagine how anyone can be miserable about a thread celebrating that amazing team and season, and I’m the most miserable person I know in real life. Some astoundingly impressive weirdness in here.

Milestones (I know 9 years is not a milestone but...) like this really act as a marker against personal moments we've been through - where were we then, and now. It's really bittersweet.

Totally agree with this. Hate how some fans think Chelsea won us the league and forgetting we worked hard on our own.

We are not a boring club like palace or Brentford have become. Something is always happening. Good or bad. 

 

 But this season i would have taken boring. Ah well, Ayew as our number 9 next season. That'll be pretty boring.

Its also just comeback to me, how embarrassing Graham Souness was during that game….. I distinctly remember him saying before the game “it’s spurs title to lose” and then later on suggested we couldn’t even win it on our own, finishing ten points clear 😂
