Our request for a tifo at this match was declined and the gig given to an agency.

As was our request to display a similar banner to the ones we displayed for Marc Albrighton and Craig Shakespeare.

Shocking, disgraceful decision.

Totally expected from the club in its current form.

Did they give you a reason @Union FS

Will be interesting how many of Top's mates from Thailand are flown over for this game and are brought onto the pitch at the end.

A real shame but no great shock. UFS have (rightly) gone after the man baby in the last 2/3 months. No surprise that he’ll make sure UFS voices are diminished as much as possible.

It’s just more of the same from KPFC. All about what looks good on TV cameras.

An obvious PR win was to let UFS manage it. Would likely relieve tensions between supporters and club execs too.

If they've any brains they'll stay off it! Had it not been Vardy's last game I would have predicted a low fairly toxic crowd.

Last point was why I was fairly sure they would hand it to the fans.

The ground has four stands.

Has there ever been conversation about having the "official" Tifo one end and yours the other?

Logistically wouldn't cause too many issues would it?

Stuff like this is the main reason I'm now of the mindset that King Power need to go. The shambolic management of the football side of the club is one thing, but even worse is their determination to hollow out the soul of the club in pursuit of clicks and tourists.

Feel he'll keep his appearances at a round 500.

So a striker like Vardy would sooner end on 500 appearance and 199 goals than 501 appearances and 200 goals?????

100% agree. The only reason I am bothering as a season ticket holder is vardys last game. I imagine that will be true of thousands of others.

Same as Bournemouth away last game, got a ticket but would more than likely have done the weekend away and skipped the game.
Can just see it now, hundreds of Thai nobody’s walking round the pitch jumping on the back of Vardys goodbye.

Guess we'll see. But imo yes.

Edit, badly worded perhaps but basically I'm saying he won't play at Bournemouth imo. He'd want his last game to be a home one.

What tourists will want to watch a bog standard championship side , which has lost all of its iconic players, with a group of fans that don't show much interest and pay daft money for the privilege?

Foreign tourists will surely go for better cities to visit as well tbh

The club display is going to be so cheesy and cringey, isn't it?

It'll be that crappy JV goat logo they made for the fashion brand, and some shite like 'forever fearless' and no reference to what actually makes him loved by the fans.

If it’s something the fans have to hold up then be great if we make planes from the pieces of paper and throw them on the pitch.. but of course we know many won’t do that 😢

The 'logistics' is part of the spurious reason they turned down one in the Kop. So one on the family stand (where they also have to do nothing) would just be too much!
