Wouldn't be surprised if the sacking  of the manager   is to deflect from the news if true, the news coming up this week   , which top already know.

We're sacking our manager? :nono: :crylaugh:

Can anyone explain to me why the club are blaming no money being spent on staying with PSR limits. It just doesn’t make sense, surely the previous years are already set in stone so this year is separate and we have yet to spend anything yet we have made money.

surely they should just come out and say we’re skint as it makes no sense.

We are skint, but PSR is also a mess, as they cant manage the club effectively.

Fairly sure there’s a three year rolling period where you’re allowed to make a certain amount of loss. That allowable amount is much smaller in the Championship. So whilst we’ve made money from transfers, our wages are still way too high, and any further investment probably locks in loss over the three years, meaning more PSR problems.

Suspect we'll find out the deduction this week, just as it would mean max chaos.

It has been suggested that Top is in the country because we are expecting the decision imminently—sacking Marti wasn’t on the agenda until yesterday. Although I’m not sure how having Top around when the verdict is announced will be of much benefit when the inevitable appeal can just be arranged with the lawyers on the phone.

Lots of mention of no PSR questions due to legal reasons in these interviews this morning makes me think even more we will be charged for 24/25 once the outcome of 23/24 is announced.

This would explains the no Premier League statement about clubs meeting/breaching at the usual time this year.

Hope I am wrong.

Just read on another site that we face a potential 9 point deduction per each of the three charges… 27 points - can’t see it happening and probably untrue?

Should they be found guilty, the club is likely to be hit with a nine-point deduction for each charge, which could total as many as 27 points.

Probably just wishful thinking from fans of other clubs that don't like us

Very much doubt this is true.

There have been a few on here including myself that have been told IF there was a points deduction we would be looking at 9 points. 100% going to be 3 because we didnt comply then anything there after.

Very much doubt it would be 27.

We still have players on over inflated wages, revenue is falling over last season, no big profitable player sales. Until July comes and we ditch more of the over inflated wages you have to balance the books.

Which will get even lower next season too. So I hate to be negative but the expense reduces possibly more.

If it’s 9pts per charge, Man City will be playing Harborough Town next season.

Man City will never be punished.
