Jacob7839 Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 Another Backwards appointment. Arguably rather keep ruud. Martin managed 5 points in a premier league season when he was in charge

purpleronnie Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 Hoped he would go to rangers, now it looks like gerrard might be going there.
Ricey Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 Just like this season, it will be going into the new season with a manager that a large percentage of the crowd don't like. A lot of people will be waiting for him to fail, waiting for us to pass it around at the back needlessly and then groan. We don't need that negativity, we need something that everyone can unite behind. 2 1
Popular Post brookfox Posted 21 May 2025 Popular Post Posted 21 May 2025 RVN PPG: 0.69 Martin PPG: 0.36! You couldn’t make it up 😆 2 3
Popular Post Pratlinho Posted 21 May 2025 Popular Post Posted 21 May 2025 Swans fan in peace. For our sakes I hope this is true. We've got our own ambitions to return to the Premier League and having one of our likely rivals for that managed by Russell Martin can only help our cause. For your sakes I hope it doesn't happen. He's easily the Swans manager I've loathed the most in his time at the club. An arrogant, stubborn, tactically idiotic buffoon with a complete inability to get the best out of the players at his disposal and total willingness to blame them when things go wrong. He may play some youth players but he will chuck them under the bus at the first opportunity if he can shift responsibility for failure from himself in the process. He's far from the nice guy his cheerleaders in the media enable him to portray himself as too. 17 1

The Foxes have also held talks with Sean Dyche. Ex-Southampton boss Martin has made the final shortlist at Rangers, but the Scottish giants are believed to be leaning towards reappointing Steven Gerrard. Van Nistelrooy is yet to be told his future by Leicester's hierarchy. However, he is almost certain to be sacked following relegation to the Championship this season. The media are so frustrating in times like these. It's impossible to know if all of the big media companies are just bandwagoning on the Football Insider article or if there is multiple sources all saying the same thing. Football Insider have said "sources", the Mail have not said who their source is at all (but the post came after Football Insider), Talksport "understands" based on what? The BBC so far have been the only source with any sort of backbone to actually point out that Football Insider is the source they are basing their article on. It just feels like one blog site posts something, then a couple of media companies jump on the bandwagon to farm clicks, before you know it it's nailed on because all of the "most reputable" media companies are giving it credibility by writing about it despite not knowing if it's actually true or some story that came from Jay Cartwrights contacts at the FA. I understand that media organisations sometimes need to hide sources, but it takes the piss when they constantly spread information based on rumours they haven't verified. Sorry, the thought of these organisations giving this story credibility is scaring me, Rant over
Ricey Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 One crumb of hope is that the Mail article wasn't by Tom Collomosse, who usually has the inside on us.

Foxes BC Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 Might as well keep Ruud. Is it too late to cancel my season ticket renewal? 3
HUNTA84 Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 I wish there was an opt-out box to be a Leicester fan sometimes 1

Also, for all our sakes, it really had better be misinformation in this case.

Jacob7839 Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 Come back to this post in a year and It's 50% likely there will be topic called league one 26/27
Popular Post Tuna Posted 21 May 2025 Popular Post Posted 21 May 2025 Rather keep Ruud, 100% honest. Can't stand a season of Martin football. 8
Torten Posted 21 May 2025 Posted 21 May 2025 The funny thing is I think he probably gets us play-offs at a minimum (barring any disastrous points deductions) but you know what will happen if we end up going up.
