Potter is stuffed isn't he?  He did amazingly at Osterlund with zero pressure, ok at Swansea, well at Brighton with a team assembled by others (and who did better under Di Zerbi) and failed completely at Chelsea and now West Ham with expectations.

Going to be hard to regain a good job if he crashes and burns at West Ham. Maybe he'll be able to land a role with a struggling Championship or even League 1 side?

His approach is just outdated. He will struggle to get a job at a higher level and those in the Championship don’t want the style he serves up.

Brighton assessment is a bit harsh/inaccurate no? His last full season i seem to remember was an obvious improvement on all his other seasons, then had a really good start to the season he left and De Zerbi carried it on. If anything that would align to when he eventually had his own squad, nothing to do with inheriting what somebody else built.

Bit early to write off WHU as well even if it doesn't yet seem that a summer of integrating his ways/style has done much for them

Can't believe that dive from Dowman wasn't pulled up. But there's definitely a conspiracy against Arsenal

It wasn't a dive. Defender stood on his toes. It was enough to bring him down any way and the correct decision.

I thought the mighty Leeds were supposed to be back?

Hopefully 1st game luck. At home fired up. Now to get battered in every game until they play Burnley...

Sounds like Villa are going to need to reign in the spending. Keeping Emery would possibly then becoming a challenge. This has a chance of a downturn for Villa.

This restrictions to spending happening after just missing out on Champions League…. .the margins are so very small.

Hell of a place is that new Everton ground.

Makes you a bit jealous that Filbert Street couldn't have held out for another 20 years. Maybe we wouldn't have gotten a flat pack stadium.

Forest were lucky with injury last season.

If their keeper, either of their centre backs or striker get crocked, they will struggle to reolace them to anywhere near the same level.

On a separate note, I can imagine Palace's tackles today will be full-blooded.

Looks nice. Similar set to to ours with where the away fans are and how the tunnel and benches are placed. Quite like the camera placement with how the pitch looks raised, like it's a stage.
