Howe can't have long left surely?

Hovering around mid-table, unlikely chance of silverware (only the FA Cup left).

He's done mightily well at his time there but has he hit a wall?

It reminds me of us towards the end under Rodgers before things got toxic.

I can't see them sacking him because who else would they get but also I can't see when they're gonna improve without a change.

Now this does remind me of the Rodgers era!

Exactly. I worry for them that they'll trap themselves

They could get most available managers in world football with the backing of PIF

Came on here to say this, looks very Roger’s esque!

Especially when you’ve got a manager moaning about signings but he also happens to be a manager who wants 100% control over signings and has got through 3 DOF already lol

Always nice seeing Newcastle lose nowadays.

Like or loathe then, as a neutral if I had to pick a random Premier League game to watch on a weekend they'd be up there . Games always seem to have goals either way..

Yeah tbf from an entertainment point of view. Howe was the same at Bournemouth as well, that's why I always liked seeing them, they could score goals but also concede a lot.

Brentford are nice too watch now too. Now defensive Frank has gone. Credit to Andrews doing a great job, when everyone predicted them to go down, especially having lost key players too.

The current trend is to knock successful managers by saying it is the previous manager's work but even that isn't fully applicable here as they lost three huge players in the summer.

It’s also a trend to knock managers that were previously crow’d about on here as being a top manager because their current job isn’t going so well.

In the case of Frank surely if he wasn’t a good manager it would show up when he didn’t have funds and players like he currently has at his disposal.

I still feel to much emphasis is put on managers in winning/losing games being all down to them, I even have some sympathy for Marti as 9/10 goals conceded were errors of a player not formation, Marti’s issues were his in game management & subs not a players inability to kick a ball or make a tackle.

So ive been watching a lot of FFTV vlogs after their games(forest). I've said this before and i'll say it again, their problem is that still think its 1980 and Brian Clough is still in charge, the amount of times they mention Cloughie is crazy, Cloughie would of done this, said that, he would of done this, etc etc. They also think they are a top 6 club because of Cloughie and last seasons finish. Also a lot of them think they will win the Europa league cos "they are former champions of Europe". To me that is their biggest problem, they cant seem to contemplate that they are no longer a top 6 club (and havent been for years) but for some reason they talk and act like they are (and should be).  That and their dodgy owner is the biggest problem within Notts Forest. They throw cash at it like a crazy man thinking that they are man city and thats going to solve all their problems.  Its laughable but come dudes get a grip. a: Clougies long gone and so are your European glory days, b: Your owner is a crook and a fraud and one day it will all catch up on him, stop denying that he isnt a crook also its embarrassing. c: just cos you had 1 decent season in the prem doesnt make you a top 6 club.
