I'm not a massive fan of his. There is a lot he says that I dont agree with and although there are things he says that I DO agree with, it's his abrasive and smug demeanour that rubs me the wrong way but having said that, NO ONE should be shot for voicing their opinions. It's pathetic.

There isn't really a UK equivalent because he exists on a platform that we dont really have where he travels around universities, holding open debates. I suppose the closest thing is Tommy Robinson.
