Rayner got caught, had to  resign, no sympathies for a hypocrite, good riddance.

What is it with the people in that place that makes them think they can line their pockets and not think they will get caught or maybe they do not care and its feed from the trough whilst they can.

Because politicians are the last people who should be in politics

The spineless banana has a chance reshuffle the whole Cabinet and has the perfect excuse to now ditch Reeves and replace her with someone like Darren Jones, but he won’t.

Of course the Moby won’t

I have loads of time on my hands

I considered becoming a magistrate

but then I thought about the tax I hadn’t paid over the years ( nothing excessive but creative accounting on occasions and the odd little white lie) and decided I simply couldn’t sit in judgement on others.

this is one of the basic points I think

Week for Labour resignations then with Dennis Jones going (quietly especially on here) yesterday.

Party for the people they say, I don’t think the girls from Rotherham would agree.

Let he who is without sin... etc

And before anyone says that this is attributed to Jesus, but is also considered by some to be added later (or even that Jesus never existed), I am (obviously) aware of this.

Nipped at the bus I feel.

Rayner has said she will pay back the correct amount of tax. Murty - avoided paying £20m of tax while her husband was minister, Chancellor and PM, while he was also negotiating deals with her father's company. She didn't pay anything back, but said she'd pay it from now on.

Again, the two tier reporting and outrage has been disgraceful.

Not even the Guardian reported it in that manner.  Should have got you to write the story.

I imagine the 2 tier reporting comes from one being caught breaking the rules while being a minister while the other was caught following the rules (that you don't like) and she was married to a minister.

I don't understand the abuse levied at Rayner, totally ridiculous.

One of have thought she killed babies or had bad breath during sex.

Thats some scope there, killing babies to bad breath, just made me chuckle lol

I'm amazed Reeves has lasted as long as she has. Guess she's been given until November to try and turn things round but that's nigh on impossible.

You're right.

"Fvck Reform, selfish death-worshippers" should be the current turn of phrase.(Though I know that doesn't roll off the tongue.)

I thought Reform had more sense than to associate with Dorries, let alone put her in a position of authority lol lol

I guess they've proved me wrong.

She's worse than useless, whatever that may be.

Lee Anderson is scum.

Nothing new here.

The thing that amazes me is how anyone trusts him. Quite apart from his persona of being the loud mouthed, boorish, ultracrepidarian who in more sensible times everyone would have avoided as the w@nker down the Red Lion, and who you prayed you wouldn't get stuck with while ordering a pint at the bar, he's had more parties than Hugh Hefner and his only belief that's remained solid is the belief that Lee Anderson should be in Parliament.

Isn’t that a charter to commit whatever crimes you want to if you think your asylum claim is unlikely to succeed ??

Tbh you can't win whatever you do with the anti immigration crowd. They want everybody deported immediately. You plan that. Then they come up with something else to complain about.

We'll never know what Angies reaction would've been if the conveyancing firm had suggested that she may have paid too much tax on the Hove property but advised that she sought out expert tax advice, will we. But we have a good idea.
