Remember the fuss when Coutts wouldn’t give him a bank account?

It’s become clear now why. They didn’t want any dirty money near them that he keeps receiving. Tice on the take too off the fraudster

What a complete and utter waste of everyone's time and tax payers money.

In an ideal world, the powers that be won’t allow for the fraudster to dictate the process of a by election until the ongoing investigations have concluded.

Realistically the other parties just won’t run for it and leave the big racist fascist to it

Clacton has the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever if it really does end up being Farage vs. Binface.

It's basically the Driffield election from this sketch at this point.

It's looking increasingly likely that it will come down to only Binface standing against him. Given that Farage got 47% of the votes at the last election there, and that some of his supporters there have grown some self awareness and realised he's nothing more than self serving pond scum, there's a very real chance that Binface could actually win if everyone who voted for anyone other than Farage at the last election does so again this time around.

...And if by some miracle Binface did win, you know for sure their blame would lie with the "uniparty" and establishment politics who decided to disrespect Clacton voters by not running (aka they didn't run so the vote wasn't split for me to win)

Binface at 9/2 at William Hill, apparently.

Even if he doesn't really look like winning, Binface simply getting close enough to make Farage take the opponent "seriously" would be damagingly embarrassing.

I'm all over £1 cap on croissants as a policy. Beats racism every day of the week. Go Binface

Does it apply to Pain au Chocolate too? Still voting Binface like but croissants are a bit dull!

Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be given the death penalty in the UK, given a posthumous pardon/commutation.

Darkly ironic that the last use of an absolute punishment (death penalty) against a woman in the UK has now been shown to be a miscarriage of justice. Shows how flawed the entire system always was.

Don't think she helped herself at the trial. Not exactly a miscarriage of justice as she did shoot the bloke but the death sentence as you say reduced to imprisonment

And how many others, I wonder, saw the gallows that shouldn't have done?

Evans, Bentley, Thompson spring to mind. One off the surprising cases is that of Hanratty that many thought not guilty only for DNA evidence years later proved he did murder Michael Gregsten and almost kill Valerie Storie

Quite right.

Just goes to show that absolute punishments cannot belong in an imperfect system, unless someone considers the idea of "collateral losses", however small, acceptable.
