Finding it hilarious the amount of resource and money Reform are having to throw at this by election.

They are taking their on the ground campaigners away from the mayoral Manchester race to Clacton. While briefing everyone to make out Binface is an establishment figure. This includes the expense of unleashing the bots online

I don't know the circumstances around the deaths of the Mexican fans but if there's one thing the American Government (and this administration in particular) can't take the moral high ground on, it's the lives innocent Mexicans.

Certainly gets serious, this morning you thought Ann Widdecombe just dies of old age. But now hearing possibly murder.

She wasn't one of most popular politicians and certainly a lot of hate towards her over the years, so sadly could be loads of suspects.

I didn't agree with her political views, but she impressed me when she was one of the very few Tories who voted in favour of a ban on fox hunting, when Tony Blair was PM.

I'll add this to my library of things to respond with when the bleeding doom-mongers that cross my path too often tell me that "the country's not what it used to be" etc etc.

I've just seen this story on Threads and the most common response is that it isn't true, which I guess just underlines that not many people go on the internet to say things like "that's good then" and "nice to hear that progress is being made"

It also highlights just how destructive the Internet has been to the very idea of established truth.

This is *great* news - thank you for sharing Cosbehfox. Everyone has a knife, so it's an extremely hard one to tackle. Pleasing that the hard work of the police, government agencies and the administrations in our cities in particular seems to be paying off

My learning here is that bluster delivers nothing at all, but hard work and application *can* make inroads on problems, slowly but surely

The internet and social media have ruined a lot of folks and given some right lunatics a platform.

It's enabled those lunatics to assemble, organise and vastly magnify their message, even in the face of it being overwhelmingly shown to be false.

That has far reaching consequences.

More policies from Sunaks time paying dividends, I think he would have gone on to be a really good PM had he come in at a different time.
