So, as this was already a problem with us having to start a 38 year old striker all season...

 

Now the God is gone, how do we go into the next season? do we think we'll look to loan or somehow sell Daka and sign a striker? could we promote from within Via the u21s? 

 

OR... more than probably relying on Ayew, Daka and perhaps Mavididi (who has played there before)?

 

its arguably the position that most concerns me going into the season, until we find out the true financial ramifications of this relegation.

I think deep down we all know they’ll waste money getting another donkey to keep Ayew company and another Daka to give us 4 years fooling ourselves it’s every other variable at fault apart from him being shit.

Dyche would go for Patrick Ageymang :wub:

 

Him and Hadji Wright from Coventry. Not only would we have the  USA starting strikers, but both of them are 6ft 4. We’d be an aerial threat at set peices but Ageymang is a right unit. Plus he is RAPID and can dribble  past players. Play target man or can trap, turn and burn.

I don't think Daka is that bad tbh it's just he joined at the start of the decline

 

21/22 - 5 goals, 3 assists in 13 starts

22/23 - 4 goals, 4 assists in 13 starts

23/24 - 7 goals, 5 assists in 15 starts

 

He's been in and out of the side through a variety of different styles under a churn of managers all the while competing with our best ever player.
