Feel like a lot of people aren't grasping the fact we're in real bother off the pitch.

We can't sell the dross, simple as that.

We need cash for both long and short term stability (some budget for Marti and cashflow for the year)

We're going down the route that is our only option.

We've got above value for Wilf, below slightly for Mads, release clause hopefully for Bilal. If someone want's to chuck as 8 figures for Winks we'll snap their hands off.

As long as by the end of the window, with whoever we've brought in, we look good enough for top 6 then we will have done what is required.

That's without even considering the behind the scenes of all of these players having zero interest in another season in the champ...

That's the risk though isn't it?

I highly doubt we'll sign players as good as Winks, BEK or Fatawu, if any of them go. And we're already looking light in CM. And we need a CF. Our recruitment system has been so poor/patchy over the last 3 years or so, that every time we sell a player and look to replace, it's a complete roll of the dice.

We're also so slow at doing business I don't like the idea of us having to replace 2-3 players in the same of a week or two!

Someone appears to be pretty desperate to ship him on....

There must be a reason why no one has gone for him - I know he's great but I'd rather keep Fattawu if it's a choice of him or Bilal. Then if we can sell Winks as well, hopefully that covers everything.

How does selling winks and Bilal cover everything?

We'll basically have no midfield left.

I mean, are we talking nightmare and skippy as our midfield?  That would be horrendous on many levels but I can see the idiots running our club doing it. Top doesn’t have a business bone in his body. If he did he’d fire Fudkin and get someone in who actually has a clue. Loyalty to a moron is not a great watch.

Really despise KP.  Marti will walk too and that Cnut Dudkin will still be in charge.

If we lose Bilal or Fatawu I really fear for our chances to go up this season.

What really sticks in the throat is the money we would get for them covers the Skipp signing from last year and little else.

Of course, I could easily be sitting here in 3 weeks moaning. Just not sure we can moan too much until then.

Also think it's a tad entitled to assume we have any sort of say in keeping these players, like I say, if they don't fancy it and think it's below them, get them gone!

We've been in this situation time and time again. They don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Oh i know, there's just a small part of me that thinks Glover/someone else must have been given slightly more responsibility this season, there's no way on earth JR has managed to do all these outgoings in the space of two weeks lol

If we lose Bilal, we'd need a marquee signing such as Brownhill unless we have scouted some hidden gem, if we lose fatawu as well we'd need a miracle, saying that if monga played on the left and started every game, we might get away with it

We've sold Hermansen for way below his market value and Coady because Wrexham are frankly a bit giddy in the market. The Ndidi deal is the only one we've done alright out of.

My problem is we can't seem to proactively sell any players. There is a market in the PL, Turkey, MLS and Saudi to flog players but we don't tap up clubs, agents and journalists, we sit on our arses until an interested party makes an enquiry.

You're right though that our business is more effective when we have a stronger HoR. Walsh and Macia (to a tiny extent M0ngerton) made things happen faster - we've been more sclerotic ever since Glover has been here - although FFP/PSR restrictions have loomed over us for that tenure.

PSR losses, not players.

you’ve managed to set the narrative at £30m on the RC

it’s been reported as being as low as £22m

when we receive 22m, the club will be slaughtered for not  getting £30m!

I haven't set any narrative on it - I'm just assuming it must be about £30m or around that, as I can't see why someone wouldn't have paid it for around £22m. Forest offered £35m for Omari Hutchinson ffs.

Brownhill would be an abysmal BEK replacement. He gets into the box well but he's more of an arrive late number 8 than a 10, he's not creative enough.

Plus on huge wages

If Bilal goes for around 25 and Winks for 5/6. Add on top the 29/30 we've already got from Coady/Ndidi and Mads and the wages saved from them and Vardy/Ward... Thats us brought in £60m and saved God knows how much in wages.

The only problem is, we can't trust the club to use that well.

It won’t be all be used, just like how it wasn’t last time

Skipp is utter dog shit if he’s ever in the team again it’s too soon. If we end up with a situation where we sell our best assets and still have, Soumare, De Cordova Reid, Skipp, Faes and Kristansen on the books I honestly  can’t cope with Rudkin

I really cannot believe many thought he would stay for a season in the championship, an established international player and one of the only ones to come out of last seasons debacle with any amount of credit. He is way too good for at least a year of playing the likes of Preston, Oxford, Charlton, Hull etc.

Oh and remember his agent has been whoring him around the premier league linking him with anyone and everyone. Another one who wants out so let’s get as much as we can and hope the club invest it in players who want to be here and have the quality to take us forward.

BEK is a quality player but like Winks if he stays and doesn’t want to be here I am really not sure he will be the cheat code many think or hope.

My suggestion of marquee signing to replace bilal was not specifically Brownhill, but somebody who has stats to backup being an adequate replacement
