Really does have the feel of a fire sale at  present, any good, sell em.

OR, on this occasion, they meet the release clause and we are powerless to stop them..

Southampton sell their shit players for good money, we get pants pulled down for anyone half decent. Another example of Rudders incompetence at this level

those sold so far have been entering the last year of their contract = much lower price. Bilal  it appears DOES have a release clause

Yeah but why is his release so low, he and his agent wouldn’t have been pushing for a similar price paid. He was being put in the shop window, proving he could perform at the highest level.
I’m sure they were both confident in his ability. He came from Genk, we just walked the championship it couldn’t have been that much of a hard sell

It won’t be all be used, just like how it wasn’t last time

Oh, I am under no illusion that it will all be used, and nor should it.

If we saved all those wages whilst bringing in £60m+ I would expect to spend about £20m on a striker, #8, #6 and #10 and even then, one or two of them will be loans.

The key would be to get the correct players in who have the quality, the profile and more reasonable wages and that's exactly were i think we would mess it up.

I remember the good old days when Percy et al. used to give us news stories that actually brought joy. Those days are long long gone.

I'm sorry but we have this sort of rubbish spouted every transfer window by the usual suspects. Firstly, this might be speculation but it follows lots of noise around the player and is now being mentioned by Percy.

Secondly, our recent transfer record is not good, nor does there appear to be much linking us with anyone so it's quite normal on the transfer section of a Leicester City forum for people to express concerns at strong links to one of our few decent signings  recently and our only senior, creative central midfielder.

People are therefore concerned at patterns of behaviour that manifest in indivdual situations like this.

If you find that ridiculous or hilarious good for you, I personally find your attitude very odd.  Each to their own eh?

I hope you feel better for getting that off your chest bless you?

Please let me know how outbursts and tantrums on a forum ever changes the situation or eventual outcome?

I find some of the energy sapping kneejerk overreactions very funny not sure why your taking so personally it was not aimed at any individual it was purely a general observation.

I haven't set any narrative on it - I'm just assuming it must be about £30m or around that, as I can't see why someone wouldn't have paid it for around £22m. Forest offered £35m for Omari Hutchinson ffs.

Hutchinson has English tax applied to him

no one has paid 22m for him yet because they are probably thinking we might accept less once the RC has expired and the player makes it clear he wants out.

his psr value is lower than 22m. Whilst we expect to make some profit towards psr, it may not work out like that.

The state the management of this club has gotten us into will be a case study on how to ruin a successful team. Incompetence on every level. Wouldn't be surprised KP are creatively raiding our accounts to help out their dumpster fire Duty Free buisness.

Brownhill would be an abysmal BEK replacement. He gets into the box well but he's more of an arrive late number 8 than a 10, he's not creative enough.

Newcastle want to get rid of Barnes and they don’t play a player in the bilal role. It makes zero sense.

Barnes is better than el khannous, so he won’t be ready for them yet. It’s all screams of them panicking to spend the isak money.

Isak out,  wissa/jackson and elkhannous in ? If isak doesn’t leave… they massively fail psr if they buy players before

It's prob Bilals agent putting it out there and the clause ends in a few days doesn't it ?

Can see us keeping him..

We have brought in around 30m which should allow us to sign a few players.. lose BEK gives us much less of a chance of going straight back up.

This one would sting a little.  I always knew he had potential and feel like we gave him the sort of chances we aren't giving to the academy players to prove himself.  Another hard reality is that, as good as he is, his output isn't good enough. He should have bagged one yesterday and didnt score enough last season.   We could easily have benched him and played Facundo more who in the early part of the season had great output. I know it doesn't work this way, but part of me thinks he owes us this season.

If there’s a release clause we can do little to prevent it.

Yeah something doesn’t feel right about that post, screams of being asked/paid to release something

we’ve been walked all over this summer and any clubs interested likely would just bait us to a lower amount anyway

because that is what we agreed to when he signed.

This is what Owynn from BBC RL had said, likely sourced from the club.

If it was in the low £20m area, surely more sides would have bid by now?
