Yeah not sure how you'd classify them, definitely some hints of Mark E Smith with the delivery at times. Crowd looked like they were having the time of their life, which made for an entertaining watch on the telly.

If it's not for you it's not for you, but that summation of Doechii does a massive disservice to the complexity in that show.

 

I've no skin in the game really, I can take or leave rap/hip hop in general, but she can rap very well, sing, dance and has stage presence.

5 oldies playing various instruments and singing.

And that was it! 
No pyrotechnics 

No dancing

No dress code

No snappy one liners

No Palestinian flags

Just MUSIC.

Is this the future?

Friday was very strong for me. Lorde, Supergrass, Lewis Capaldi, Franz Ferdinand, Blossoms, Alanis Morrisette, Wunderhorse, Biffy, Floating Points all good sets.
