Brilliant. I expect if you email Rudkin you will get the same reply to email Whelan. 🤣

Is the whole club just a shell company now? 😆

Hah! I gathered. Highly believable though and would explain a lot.

It's a question for the Trust or FAB to raise with the club. Along with "are you going to end the idea about expansion or put some criteria in place for it proceeding". It's yet another thing shrouded in secrecy.

Yes I agree it's a question to ask.

Not at you.

But it's fvcking piss poor we've not gone down this route. Plymouth must have bagged 2m at least for last summer.us fvck all.

Not sure you can compare crisp packets being thrown away to a gambling company with dodgy links, a dodgy website and no obvious licence to operate in the country of the club they sponsor, especially as the club has already been warned about sponsors of a previous nature and recently told 80% of its fans disagreed with having a gambling sponsor on its shirts. Not to mention the embarrassment of players having to play in unsponsored shirts due to their content.

A crisp company that has refused to cut their plastic outputs for decades versus a betting company that will probably not be about in a year or two. Yeah true, there isn’t much of a comparison

"Leicester City FC has a long history of partnering with illegal (*) Asian-facing sports betting platforms. In fact, Josimar’s research shows that the Midlands club is the world record holder of the number of such partnerships, with a total of thirteen since 2016, when 12bet became the first such operator to sign a deal with the Foxes. 6686, 8Xbet, Dafabet, EKings, HTH, JiangNan Sports, Kaiyun, Leyu, M88, OB Sport, Yabo and, until the end of last season, crypto casino BC.GAME were the others. All of them Asian-facing. All of them illegal."

Incredible stuff from our 'family club'.

Does go to show though, these shams are near bullet proof, these are professional investigative journalists with subscriptions to all sorts of tools... and they can't find a paper trail.

I find it pretty ridiculous that the leagues don’t have rules stating they need to know exactly who the directors are for any sponsor. There is probably a very good reason for that not being the case though.

Might be an unpopular opinion but given this has been happening since 2016, would suggest it was custom & practice under Vichai and Top has continued the trend 😩

Its embarrassing that they even have to do this for us.

Nothing but greed from our owners. We have (and I know for fact) had some massive offers from local (ish) business last season and again for this and just been batted away to make space for lets face it a money laundering company!

Its a disgrace and you know what's worse? there will still be 1000's that will buy this shirt!

I am sure the @Foxes_Trust can and will use this report when speaking to the club.

it isnt just us though it is the majority of the Premier League at up to it. Its bigger than an LCFC issue it is a world footballing issue that should be shut down. It wont be though as there are too many kick backs to it.

Just another reason why football is no longer an enjoyable sport. The corruption and greed is off the scale now and people aren't even getting a good quality product for their money. I don't watch any football anymore other than Leicester as I just find it boring and 10+ years ago I'd watch football every night, any team, any league but now it's just crap.

The whole thing will come crashing down though if something doesn't change. So many people are now using firesticks rather than paying for football and also buying shirts from places like DH gate rather than from the actual clubs because of the cost. Once more people stop accepting the shite we are being served, and start boycotting, the whole thing will crash and burn.

Yeah I guess given all those other sponsors are what I’d call 3rd or 4th tier (official bookmaker etc) and really just for perimeter ads, it’s gone somewhere under the radar.

The graduation to front of shirt has meant we’ve all seen it and noticed it more.

Interesting article although Dafabet isn't illegal. Even though it it's based in the Philippines it does has a UK gambling commission license and has been Celtic's main shirt sponsor for nearly 10 years (among other clubs).

It’s amazing that cigarettes and alcohol are banned but these life destroying money laundering schemes aren’t.
