Having just switched on my only comment is that the grounds man needs to lower his blade & make lines with his roller not by stacking old cuttings in lines to make tracks.

Our biggest issue, as we all know, is scoring goals. We need a striker, but, are we able to create chances?

The manager not being here tells you a lot. Like mentioned by others this is clearly a majority of players who want out with a sprinkling of the youth who aren’t quite ready yet. Ben Nelson the exception though, he must surely be still carrying a knock because there’s no other explanation as to why he’s not started/gone to the Koln match.

Hamza, Alves and Okoli look on it

Really? I think Alves has been quite poor. I've lost count at the amount of times he's had the ball taken off him.

Ofcourse, it means nothing in this sort of game but I do think he's been off it today.

Not a very impressive performance I can’t see much intensity the quality is poor and Choudhury doesn’t even look fit.
A bit pantomime like - where did you pass the ball? It’s behind you!

Thought Alves was the best so far.

At least we look better than last years pre-season

Do we!?

If I wasn't working I'd be pretty annoyed I'd wasted 45 minutes of my life watching that lol

Don’t think the poor pitch is helping players like Alves, who have good close control

I don't think anyone is looking that great but he's shown a really great ability to spin players and get after the opposition, plus a couple of instances of really good strength. The pitch is so 'heavy' that dribbling on it is near impossible.

Alves started very well but has lost the ball and lot towards the end of the half. His pressing and intention though is exactly what is required in this system, he'll do well next season off the bench IMO.

Only Hamza looks half decent.

Everyone else looks bloody rubbish.

He doesn't look fit puffing and panting.

Both our wingers have tried several times to take on their respective fullbacks and failed. So they are both now using same trick of receiving the ball going forward 5 yards and the passing back. Their fullbacks think they are on holiday.
