Rashford dropped after being late for a team meeting - not the first time that has happened in his career.

 

Marseille v PSG to be played tomorrow having been called off due to rain today.

Doesn’t matter how good a season you’ve had.

He has had a pretty special season to be fair.

 

35 goals and the treble. I think the problem is that the Balon d'Or isn't "the best player in the world" anymore. It's more "which player had the best season".

I’m not denying that at all.  It you’re right, it’s a glorified European player of the season award.

Owen was an absolute beast at that age though. Especially given his scoring records compared to the legends of strikers and players he was up against.

Yeah I know he really was a great poacher and that goal against the Argies was special. 
 

I guess with Ronaldo, Messi etc we were spoilt. 
 

7-15 years ago Dembele wouldn’t have even made top 5.
