Of course! Here’s a version tailored for Wrexham, keeping Conor Coady’s authentic voice — humble, passionate, and full of leadership energy:

---

“Honestly, I’m absolutely made up to sign for Wrexham. It’s a proper football club with a real buzz around the place, and you can feel how much it means to the town. I’ve had some brilliant chats with the gaffer and the people behind the scenes — their ambition’s clear as day, and I wanted to be part of it straight away. I’m here to give everything, help the lads, and hopefully bring a bit of experience to the group. I’ve seen what the fans are like — absolutely top class — so I can’t wait to get going and be part of something special.”

---

Would you like a version for social media too — something snappier for Instagram or X?

Got to be the first time in the past few years we've recouped money for a player that we didn't want to keep.

Well, when you say recouped, Rudkin has lost 5.5m in transfer fees and spunked around the same in wages on him. All for about 15 games - most of which were meaningless.

So 11m out and 2m in is, for Rudkin,.pretty good deal. Bearing in mind Ward directly cost us around 200m when you favour in the lost TV revenues

Wrexham have taken Danny Ward and Conor Coady.

They are fast becoming my second favourite team ❤️

For that alone yes. Apart from that I cannot stand the over-hyped americanised "incredible story" Wrexham.... sorry

Typical of us to get a deal done quickly when someone leaves.
Whenever we’re trying to sign someone it drags on for ages.

Getting rid of these sorts of players should provide as much of a boost as a new signing would

Wasn't Vardy on £140k and Coady about £60k? I could be wrong.

Coady was on 70 k in the championship and 100k in the prem. Pretty sure anyway that he was the unnamed player in the percy article from a while back on these wages

Talked the talk VERY MUCH SO didn’t walk the walk.

Might come back to bite us BUT needed rid.  Won’t be remembered really

More as just as a flop on the pitch who contributed more to Radio 5 Live's Monday Night Club show. He hardly played in the Championship under Maresca (partly through injury from the off from memory) and was patchy at best last season when he did so more in the Prem.

It’s not one that’ll come back to bite us as

much as others, but we all know when his two best games for Wrexham will be.

Coady is a player I didn’t mind, but when you look back on his career here can anyone pick out a game where he played and you were like “Yeah he was unreal” or “do you when remember when Coady….” because I genuinely can’t.

Certainly not sticking up for Rudkin here but there’s not many players mid 30’s that’ll recoup their transfer fee in the next sale. We are lucky we’ve managed to get £2m plus another £3m a year off the wage bill.

Agree totally.

Was cack handedly trying to make a point that a 11m loss under Rudkin is universally seen as a success and celebrated

I’m sure there was a game towards the back end of that Maresca season - when we were looking like we were about to shit the bed - and he played and got people on here saying he should start over Vesty.

From hazy memory, I think he did the next game… and the consensus on Vesty returned.

Wasn’t he on £70k/week here? They can’t have offered even half of that.

Fair play to him if we’ve asked him to move on and he actually has rather than pick up his wage and chance his arm next Summer.

Anyone else starting to get that little feeling of positivity- like we might be starting to do something right at last ?

If that was the case we wouldn't have signed the twat.
