It would be nice if this is the turning point in the misery. I still don't think we're quite done yet, but if next season becomes some sort of almighty readjustment where the end result is us, Coventry, Forest and Derby all playing Championship football I'll be hopeful that nature is healing. I can't see it personally for as long as Top and Rudkin call the shots, but I guess we'll find out.

 

It's just been a relentless battering with literally everything that could possibly go wrong for a Leicester fan going wrong for the past two years - both for us and for our local rivals. Between Derby bottling the playoffs and Forest's god-given right to European glory ending in humiliation, there's finally a small, pathetic morsel of schadenfreude to enjoy from our historic low point.

I think I am erring towards Freiburg. 
 

I don’t have an issue with Villa as such but after that side they put out that rolled over for Spurs, I think I am preferring that they dumped Forest out to get pumped in the final!

They could have been hero’s had that they beaten Spurs and Forest…

To be fair to Villa, they can do what they want in that situation as long as its within the "law".

They knew the priority was the Europa Cup so even if they fielded a team of canteen staff for the Spurs game then good.

Particularly enjoyed pre-match them saying what a clown Emery is and that Villa didn't have the passion that Forest do.

As the match progressed it became all about the referee being a cheat and moaning about the penalty, despite them getting one against Chelsea for the same thing.

I don’t really care for this rational thinking Raj, they had a generational opportunity to put Spurs on the bring and f***ed it!

 

 

Teams have had penalties for fielding such changes sides haven’t they before? Wolves come to mind. But they are safe in the top 5 so even a penalty they’d probably take.

I know quite a few Florist fans who actually booked flights, hotels and got tickets for the final as they were so self-convinved they would get to Istanbul.

Genuinely find the folk of Notts one of the most bizarre species on the planet. Their bravado is obnoxious, yet slightly impressive at times. They are just another medium sized club from the East Midlands yet they genuinely see themselves at one of the greatest sides in Europe living in one of the greatest cities.

I know our own fans can be bad, but in the main we were still quite modest even when we were flying and doing well. That lot are truly insufferable and think they're something they're not. I have never met a Forest fan I like. 

 

On a side note, as much as I want Spurs to drop from the Prem, the unnecessary drama from fans like Forest (who hypocritically made their own changes for the Chelsea game) about Villa making changes are looking daft now. Villa as good as finished 5th and had the chance to do what they did last night. Fair play to Emery.

To be fair I had a conversation on here last season with someone claiming none of Forest’s team would get in our side. Even the defence!
