It is a bit odd that the only football teams he follows are Portugal, Benfica, and Leicester.

No chance we manage to land him though.

It would suggest that there is something in this. Also, it's far too random not to have some 'legs'

Not really, he's a big Leicester fan. Heard in an interview that he idolizes Richie Wellens

I heard he remembers watching us in the 97 Cup final vs Middlesbrough and began his love for the club at that moment...

What’s even more suprising is that was 8 years before he was born.

We’re clearly in his blood!

Wonder if this one will be parked for now if we keep Bilal. Imagine the scenes on here if we keep Bilal and negotiate a loan with an option to buy for this guy.

Add in a competent striker and a centre mid and maybe a full back and we can forget the Vardy statue and build the Rudkin statue.

Gerrimmmin. Bag off BEK and Joao will do a similar job for less money.

This. Get him in, loan with obligation/option, bin BEK into the u23s if he wants to be a mardy a*se. See how that helps his international career. It's what we should have done with tielemans.

What do you think that will achieve?

Say goodbye to ever signing a player who is so good that they see us as a stepping stone.

Don't disagree, but, if they are going to sulk and not perform then they don't get picked. Its time clubs stood up to these prima Donna's and took back control. If what is being reported is true (although I do take a lot of it with a pinch of salt yet nothing from his camp to deny it) then it's self destructive and other clubs will think twice about paying good money for them.
