Given the way things are going for King Power generally, he may have very little choice but to sell before too long. He would still get a sizeable amount for the club and that cash would give KP an extremely needed cash boost. My concern is more who we end up with if he ends up being desperate to sell.

Just a thought that occurred to me when reading this but didn’t KP transfer the shares to top who is now the sole owner, not KP? 
 

Could this be a move to ensure that if the business goes tits up they’ve got a sizeable asset not tied to the business that can’t be touched and as such an asset they could sell to ensure the family still have plenty of money? And I suppose the plus side to that is we’re protected from the vultures if the business does go pop.

This concept is nonsense. Where's Bournemouth's rightful place? Brentford's? Brighton's? Forest's? Fulham's? Crystal Palace's? Do you think Brighton would accept going back to League One now?

This is probably me being really thick and not thinking something through properly but this current episode of selling off just about anybody an offers come in for. How easy would it for them to siphon that money out to prop up King Power?

My worry is that the combination of success and tragedy means Top has formed some very unique "bond" with the Club and he is incredibly unlikely to sell unless things get properly desperate. He will continue to coast and show us all contempt for a long time yet.

Thought it was weird we’d entered into a multi-club ownership model of obscure teams from Scandinavia but all makes sense now.
