We all have our own theory or two as to the reasons behind the current situation, and there's no denying there are problems. The pending legal action and lack of some meaningful in-coming transfer activity I fear is just the tip of the iceberg, and the stuff below the waterline I feel the club will want to keep under wraps

You’ve answered your question in the line immediately after. And yes, in terms of actually doing anything beneficial to the club, there is no point.

 

Surely it would be less effort to just run the club properly than the effort that goes into deflecting and shielding himself from criticism!

The Nepo Baby and his chef Nursery minder Teflon Jon ( plus a few low key others) know that the fvck up's are their doing, but are still unwilling to take ownership and do anything about them (goes back to not learning from mistakes) or, our current situation would be showing green shoots of recovery by now.

 

The deathening silence from the club is all we get, most probably because nothing has changed but in all fairness the total lack of fan base communication is nothing new.

 

So doing an "interview" is polar opposite to norm form the club and has to be content controlled damage limitation.

 

The irony is, if this is the case and we have guessed correctly at the true reasoning behind it all,  its possibly the most ''positively reactive' the club has been with regards to its situation, its just a shame that the same impetous couldn't be shown to actually fit it.

The obvious question now would be why has the club not been communicating with fans, but then when a director was targeted by chants he felt it important to communicate, what is your priority, your circle of staff or the wider club, the community and its fans.

I'm not too fussed about Top selling as I worry that we will get someone worse. I just want him hire people who know they are doing  & then step aside & let professionals run the club. Rudkin can take care of the stables !!!

In all likelihood it's going to get worse isn't it if he doesn't sell

Top knows if he hires competent people they might start questioning him.

 

Much easier to stick with his mate who won’t question him on anything.

The longer we stay in the Championship the less the club will be worth . Surely at some point Top & his family will realize that the club must be ran properly to maintain or increase value. It's hard to believe that Top believes he is honouring his fathers legacy.

Haven't been in that place for a couple of years. Nothing happened after the worst relegation in history so why does anyone think he'd start making changes now? And Top's the catalyst, not Rudkin

Still not convinced. In the last month, Aiyawatt has sacked someone who has been an award winning CEO and re-signed a murky AF principle sponsor. He's then overseen tensions boil over as they did at Carrow Road and the club statement that followed.

 

His next step is to record a video 'to the fans' from a literal ivory tower and appoint an MD with surely one of the weakest CVs a new football MD has ever had. This was his big reset, his new start but it just feels so amatuer and naive. 

 

He's taken an underperforming senior leadership team at the lowest ebb of their tenure out of the picture and replaced them with himself and a mid-level supply chain manager. Somehow he's made a really bad, dysfunctional board even worse.
