Five years ago we'd just pumped Leeds 1-4 at Elland Road to go top of the Premier League.

Last night really hit home how far we've fallen. A half empty stadium sat in in the piss, playing Middlesborough in a laughably bad game of football on a Tuesday night in the Championship. A squad chocka full of ****ing dross.

It's a sad indictment of where the club is and it's only going to get worse. We'll lose all of our best players next summer and we'll be fully back to square one. I'm talking Levein / Mad Dog / Holloway years.

It was all so ****ing avoidable too. It's unforgivable.

We need someone to do a "bird in a nightclub" analogy ASAP

With every game we lose it’s another step towards misery, decline, financial loss & administration AND MOST IMPORTANTLY GETTING THIS IDIOT OUT OF OUR FOOTBALL CLUB once and for all !!!

That’s how I look at it, it’s the every cloud has a silver lining point of view

Good analogy man

Took over (in tragic circumstances) a vibrant, potentially exciting squad that needed fine tuning which has been decimated whilst we have overspent to get to this point.

But yeah, be careful what you wish for and all that.

Been told that Top will have a sit down interview

open to talk about anything, other than the death of his father.

Will happen in the next couple of weeks or so.

Presume that it'll be pre-scripted a bit?

Too late for all of that. It will be a grown ass 40 year old man on the radio telling everyone that his mistakes, lack of proper judgement and undying loyalty to a failing team is “not his fault”. No real answers. No change. The demise of Leicester City continues without any sort of care.

What it will do is  the simpletons in the fan base will lap it up and it will give them two more years of the poor Top line.

Exactly this.

RL don’t ask probing questions in any case

Would rather NOT hear from him if he’s going to blame everyone else and take no accountability for ruining our club.

I hope he gets asked whether he has any intentions of selling up, ever but it’ll probably be what his favourite sandwich filling is or whatever 🤦🏻‍♀️

O Brien, at Everton, is on £10k a week less than Daka currently is. And that’s after his relegation clause salary cut.

Mind blowing when you think of it- who Everton are, how well established they are.

Exactly this. I’d prefer it if we could ask the questions.

Plus the BBC will be PC about it and ask dumb questions.

Firstly I don’t believe that at all he the bloke never speaks just a puppet, and secondly I’m not interested !

Has someone had to put a gun to the guys head in order for him to speak ??

He's had years to communicate with the most important people at the football club and that’s the fans, years to build a rapport and not done so, so why now ?

“Oh I’m in the s**t and need to preserve any credibility I have left which isn’t a lot so maybe I can talk a load of waffle and our fans will believe it”

The only thing I’m interested in him saying is “I’m looking for a buyer for the club”

Clear off you incompetent idiot !

Hope there’s some serious questions being asked including recruitment, plans to get us back to the PL and surely a question on the stadium expansion should be there too.

I don't care what he has to say. The time for talking has long since passed.

He's shown he's negligent and doesn't care for the future of the club. He has to go.

Yeah, it really feels like he’s locking the stable door after the horse has bolted.

At this point, I don’t think any interview would be seen in a positive way by most of the fans

"Open to talk about anything" IE pre screened questions from Anthony Herlihy.

Even if the FAB are there it'll then be behind a NDA.

If he's having a sit down interview in the next couple of weeks then you can pretty much guarantee Marti is getting sacked after Saturday.
