I don't share the optimism of the last couple of posters.

Sure, many will be out of contract at the end of this season. But we are only 13 games into this one and we are in relegation form at the moment. And if we tread water our reputation and finances will deteriorate. So our ability to recruit coaching staff and players will regress. We will lose our parachute payments. And so on.

And if we can't compete with the set up we have at the moment, how will we do with a lower budget sqaud.

I can see there could potentially be light at the end of the tunnel with contracts, but I just have no faith in those in charge wont replace those dossers with some new overpaid and underperforming dossers.

I don't think we have the ability to do that, if the summer's incomings are anything to go by.

Just look at yesterday's post on Facebook by Bentley's roof. Full of the 'be careful what you wish for brigade '.  Still work to do!

The Happy Clappers will happily clap the club all the way down to non league and still think Tops done a brilliant job lol

I recorded the call my end too

Can hear me repeating myself 5x ‘they’re useless Chris, they’re useless’

Obviously I had no idea they’d muted me at that point 😂

All these star players on the bench that are all shit that no other teams will want lol

Problem is we might look good on paper but nobody watches how they perform on the pitch other than us.

Over half of that wage bill is out of contract at the end of the season. Ayew, Winks, Ricardo, Soumare, Begovic, Daka and the three loan players.

Yes but we will just sign expensive replacements under current ownership. Ayew, Winks, Begovic and the loan players are proof of that.

This.

Staying at this level for a bit of a reset, isn’t possible. As you rightly point out, the financial blueprint will diminish significantly the longer we are here, Top won’t invest into the club, so we are reliant on generating our own funds.

Any half decent player will end up being sold on the cheap to plug financial holes in the club, and we will just end up stagnating…..

The problem is, Top and Rudkin aren’t capable of running the club, so under this regime we’re ****ed either ways If we go up we will make a mess of it, if we stay here we will make a mess of it.

At the end of the day it all comes back to one thing, Top has to sell for any chance of a recovery.

Probably already been shared but the quotes in this article from Dorsett are absolutely staggering, even if he's trying to be a good boy. How can you have somebody reporting on the club who is so far out of touch?

Do the right thing Top and sell up. Hasn’t got the business sense his dad had, surrounded himself with yes men and now we’re paying for it.

Sell now and don’t destroy your families legacy.

It’s not a nice thing to say or hear but realistically there is no way to get rid of a nepotistic man child with no idea with how to do anything well, evidenced by his life, actually look into anything he has touched, it turns to shit and he is a cockroach who won’t leave. Think we are stuck with this until admin or death unfortunately, as king power continues to collapse with this moron in charge. We have become a passion project for potentially the richest ****ing moron in the world

Interesting to see that Top’s more hands on role as CEO doesn’t result in him being bothered to watch the team. AGAIN.

At least for Cifuentes’ sake it means he can’t do a Marinakis. You actually have to attend a match to make a leaving early statement Top!

Aiyawatt do a Marikanas!

He wouldn’t even be able to intimidate my 2 year old daughter lol (she’d have him in tears with just some well chosen words).

Haven’t see much dissent on Facebook from posts telling Top to sell up

The most people can seem to muster is ‘All I’m saying is that a draw against a team above us is better than a defeat against a team below us. With a bit of luck 🍀 tonight we would have won’

As if this is all about a single draw

Alarming that after Big Sue left, Top seems to be using that as a means of becoming more involved - if he actually does become more involved as interim CEO. I wonder whether we’ll actually get a proper dedicated CEO or whether Top will do a Rudkin and have 3-4 roles. But all of this,

and the direction of the club, is a joke. If he’s not careful he’ll hardly anything back for the tens of millions (perhaps hundreds) KP have invested because we’re heading back to the lower reaches of the championship where Vichai found us.

I was reflecting after the game last night and the current level of performance seems similar to those years we bobbed around the lower half of the Championship before we eventually dropped to League One. Marti has a Craig Levein feel to him.

The downward trajectory just from last season is alarming enough. We need action and we need it now!
