In a world where Millwall are probably the best scouting team in the division. A lot of teams their size are getting smart in recruitment and dipping into markets largely untouched

In this case the £15m was just a typo, it's £5m.

I like that we're being linked with a lot of strikers suddenly, but this is the one that makes the most sense for what profile of player we need.

I can't say I'm excited by the player, I know nothing about him. 

 

It's the profile. In the setup we have, we really don't need anyone special as a striker, just a big, strong target man who can get on the end of lots of crosses.

I'll be just as happy with somebody who knows where the back of the net is and can put the ball there. It's not asking a lot.

Ivanovic scored 1 goal every 3 games in the championship last season, are we sure he is the guy we need to score regularly for us?

12 goals in 24.2 games in a Millwall side who finished 8th at 20 years old

 

I think he would be a very good signing for us

Interesting that Milwall are in for Erabi. They spent big on Coburn this summer too, so they are either expecting a sale or are going for it this season.

 

I actually think it’s the latter, they will fancy their chances

Not bothered who they are,  just someone who poses a threat on goal as opposed to the dallying about we have seen so far. Once Vardy lost his pace we have hardly been an effective force around the penalty area.

There’s been no suggestion they want to sell him. The link for us signing him isn’t very strong. Theyve had bids this summer and turned  them down
